Three things you notice in this video: 1) the thud of the ball each time they kick it. Balls were very heavy and thick in material back then. Players have it good nowadays, especially when it comes to heading the ball. 2) the damp pitch with visible surface water (i.e. puddles). Sports turf technology and drainage systems have come along way. 3) Coming together at centre of pitch at end of match to swap jerseys and wave to supporters. They knew they were mostly lowly paid amateurs just out there giving their all by representing their respective countries on the world stage. Nowadays, players are mostly playing for themselves. They look over to the sidelines or big screen at every opportunity to seek a nod approval from their coach or teammates. Looking at the big screens to male sure their hair is nicely kept. That is why I enjoy watching matches, of any sport, from years ago. There is nostalgia as well as some greater empathy and humility and interest in the players performing; they would have to get on a long flight, which they probably had to contribute some cost towards; the phone calls back home to family; the stories of how they found out they were selected for a team; knowing that after the match is over they most likely returned home to rest before going to work on Monday morning.

Pero parece Penal de Figueroa, otra cosa q nunca se dice es que en el 1 Tiempo no lluvio (al final la cancha parece seca, sin pozas), a y no aparece el Gol anulado a Caszely (¿offside?).
