7 ай бұрынThis is the 2nd Final of the 1999/00 Carlton & United Series between Australia and Pakistan at the SCG after a great 1st Final at the MCG in which Australia won by 6 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the series if Australia wins this match they will win the Carlton & United Series for 1999/00 for Pakistan this is a must win match to keep the series alive and make it a 3rd Final the teams for this match are for Australia it’s Mark Waugh, Adam Gilchrist, Ricky Ponting, Andrew Symonds, Michael Bevan, Steve Waugh, Shane Lee, Damien Martyn, Shane Warne, Brett Lee and Glenn McGrath the 12th Man for Australia is Damien Fleming for Pakistan it’s Saeed Anwar, Shahid Afridi, Ijaz Ahmed, Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad Wasim, Azhar Mahmood, Moin Khan, Wasim Akram, Saqlain Mushtaq, Waqar Younis and Shoaib Akhtar the 12th Man for Pakistan is Shoaib Malik in perfect conditions at the SCG and in front of a huge crowd of 38,000 fans Australian captain Steve Waugh won the toss and decided to bat first on a great pitch this is Australia vs Pakistan it’s the 2nd Final of the 1999/00 Carlton & United Series on Nine's Wide World Of Sports enjoy the video.

So many great players in this game. Just one of many points that could be made. The opening batters heart rates... Pakistan, Akhtar with Deadly pace, and Akram with skill, tricks and total control... Australia, Lee with Deadly pace, and McGrath with skill, tricks and total control... What an era, where you have the 2 fastest, and 2 most skilled of their time (arguably all time) opening in the same game... Great upload, well done...

Pakistan's ODI record against Aus is always poor. But In T20I's their performance against AUS is slightly better.

Australia have has great success against Pakistan in One Day Internationals and Pakistan have a great Twenty20 team and have done well against Australia.

@@LachiePattersonCricket whenever logo changed aus didn't qualify benson hedges series changed to Carlton United series 2002 vb series aus didn't qualify logo changed common wealth bank series aus qualified but lost to eng in finals 2007 jinx for aus actually Australia has won 41 odi tournaments including World cups champions trophy india 28 pak 25 no other teams have won more than 15
