what caught my attention ,1/ very crisp clean environment climate , structures , vehicles..etc........ 2/ almost % 95 of people are dressed high as if every one day and night is attending corporate outdoor cocktails. i HAVE NEVER seen such highly well dressed people anywhere in the world . very elegant city ? 3/ no one is wearing Covid mask ??

As a Brisbane local I just wanted to clarify that this is the inner city so most people are here for business or shopping, hence why they are dressed ‘elegantly’. Also the lack of masks is not out of negligence. We have had mask mandates on and off, but usually masks have only been required during outbreaks (ours are small, about 20 people max). Currently you need them in medical practices and that’s about it. Also, nearly 100% of the population has been fully vaccinated. Last time I checked it was about 96%. I was just worried people might take brisbane as an example of masks being unneeded against Covid. We are very lucky in that COVID came to us late, so we learned from other countries and were able to avoid big outbreaks in Brisbane. We also don’t have a huge population of sceptics and anti maskers, so when they become necessary, everyone wears them pretty much straight away.

Half way through the vid there was a person that coughed up flem then spat it out in front of people where the city shops are and also theres no regard for wearing masks or social distancing thats why cases of the delta and the omicron are high in this country,
