Had to check - storm won the 1992 world championship in her weight division, Lourene got silver in 1994 and 1998. Both world class.

In the opening interview Lourene said that her and storm was even is that the count of matches won or female contenders they have pulled? One thing confused me Mike Hammond said that Storm was a champion in a different weight class. If they were in different weight classes how could they have sparred against each other.

Even if they didn't compete against each other because of weight classes, if they were friends they'd definitely spar for practice/fun.

@@bernhardjohansen10 I think Coordinator got mixed up. The Mike Hammond you see here is alive and well and is currently hosting his own radio show on WSFM Sydney. I think the Mike Hammond that Coordinator was thinking of was the Australian Rules footballer who died in 2018 aged 72, who is a completely different person entirely.

@@magicalsenshi8685 Yes that's true. I got confused myself, but the Mike Hammond that died was born in 1945. And Mike Hammond on Gladiators can't have been that old lol.
