Another awesome video my eye kept sneaking into the background you're diorama looks to be coming along nicely. Love to go to shows but don't get out due to that nasty social anxiety and ptsd so these videos help people like myself a lot. Keep up the great work look forward to you're next video .👍

The Harris' look amazing ! As a commuter back in the day , I never cared much to ride in them but pre ordered 2 of these sets for the sake of the VR collection. I'm more excited after seeing the samples though !

@@WillJamesRailways That's disappointing to hear. One can dream I guess. Also, I'm riding the Walker Railmotor 22RM at Yarra Valley Railway on the weekend. Have you done a video on that one yet?

Thanks for the updates Will, certainly looking forward to the SDS 700 Class cars and the ELX/ESX etc wagons, plus the T's & Y's, they all look like they will be super nice. Also looking forward to the Harris sets next year. Hopefully we will end up getting H sets too at some point. Along with S & Z cars as well at some point from Auscision. Certainly alot of good stuff coming over this year and next year.

I was looking forward to the Harris models at 23:49 , but the riveting around the passenger windows look far too prominent. I would even suggest from my memory of riding in the trains hundreds of times in service that at normal modelling viewing distances the window rivets would be invisible and so could be left off. Anyone doubting this should look at good photos of Harris trains in operation and see if you can discern any window rivets. You would need to get very close to start to see the tiny rivets.

Unless there was some application of giant rivets later in the life of these cars.

Stopped by your store at AMRA last month to pick up a supply of Ron's famous trees. Sadly, I was disappointed that the trees are no longer the same high quality that made Ron's tree's so good and of high quality. After some investigation it was discovered that the trees are no longer made "here" which explains the poor material quality, different foliage colouring, and the fact that the packaging squashed the trees in the long shipping process. Although, it was great to see you, so that's a positive.

I have a couple of models that I only display, brought them second hand Train World. Is it possible to purchase models (Store or online) without a motor, as I would only display them?

It used to be a common thing for Athearn to sell dummy diesel units without motors, gears etc and just plastic wheels at a substantial saving. A few Triang Transcontinental diesels also had dummy versions. The Triang R.159 and R.250 are two versions that come to mind. Over time the dummy units became less popular and ceased production.

If only Trainorama concentrated on doing another release of their regular 930, than coming up with a fictitious mustard pot scheme. Yes it looks different, but Id rather a proper, classic SAR scheme release.

20:20 I think you've been misled by SDS not updating their news page properly. The 1620s, Y and F news is a copy paste from the start of the year. I'm pretty sure they are still due for delivery around the end of the year.

Unfortunately they didn’t/don’t send updates and my attempts at communication almost always goes unanswered. So I do have to rely on what they publish publicly. Sorry again.

I hope you're right, but the Y's will be year's away. I've had a few T's pre-ordered over 3 years ago and still waiting.

@@LightRayTracer When I talked to them last they were still saying end of the year. But you have to take everything they say with a bucket of salt. Truth is they rarely seem to know what their factories are up to until the stuff gets shipped out to them.
