A 16-year-old boy was arrested after he attacked the bishop, a priest and churchgoers during mass at a church in Sydney on April 15. Australian police have declared the stabbing at the Assyrian Christ The Good Shepherd Church a religiously motivated "terrorist act.”Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese described the knife attack in Sydney as "disturbing.”The incident came two days after a man stabbed six people to death at Westfield Shopping Centre in Sydney’s Bondi Junction before he was fatally shot on April 13. I'm Australian Christian from migrants parents who came here from Europe, in the 60s this was a horrific, act, but I'm against any tit for that violence, or any attacks on police. I'm sorry but people need to calm down and let the police handle it. You get nowhere by getting down to the same moral level to the person who has done this horrible thing. I'm not against Assyrians Christians at all , I have friends from that community and they are lovely people and I know that many of them have suffered a lot from persecution and genocide both very recently and historically. It is also wrong to lash out at police (out of frustration and anger ) or to target innocent Muslims who have done nothing wrong. And that's what happens when you allow the lynch mob to take over. As the child of migrants I think migrants, need to do the right thing by Australia, (because Australia have been very good to all migrants who have been allowed to come here ) so we need to respect its laws, let the police do their job, and never take the law into your , our hands. Otherwise we are no better than those who have done us wrong.

Allowing such hateful rhetoric only leads to tragic incidents like this. They tried their best to make sure that their people do not get divided on tbe basis of religion bh not revealing the identities of attackers.
