From a working class upbringing in Adelaide, Scott Neeson built a career as a top Hollywood movie executive, promoting blockbusters such as Titanic, Braveheart, Independence Day, and X-Men. It was a glamorous lifestyle, walking red carpets, partying with celebrities and dating models.
But after a holiday in Cambodia, Neeson made a deliberate choice to give it all up. Gone are the slick designer suits, traded instead for the cargo pants and hiking boots required to navigate the rubbish dumps of Phnom Penh.
He now owns 'nothing' but says he couldn't be happier as he works to help some of Cambodia's poorest children.

What a wonderful thing you are doing Scott. Although we know that you do as much, if not more, than is possible for one person, and that it is ultimately the responsibility of corrupt political systems---what you are doing is highly commendable. Whilst it's not possible to help everyone, it's always better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness. It is more meaningful than your previous role. You're a star.

Hi there! I could not believe my luck when I ran into my Living God, idol and inspiration Scott Neeson at Bangkok airport. We were on the same plane from Phnom Penh. I was rapt and couldn't hold back my tear when I said hello to him. What a guy! down to earth with a platinium heart. My next trip to Cambodia, I will go and check out his CCF center and if anyhow I can lend him a hand like teaching class to those kids. Love you Scott! you are a real God. Best of luck.

Thank you God for blessing Scott and his family members to experience this and to do something about it. Scott and his family members are truly blessed. Not many people will care for the poor unless they witness it. I'm raised and brought up in Australia as an Australian but my background is Cambodian. I would to do something for the poor one day. :) great video.

A man who was denied parenthood and one which parent which made it harder to accomplish his dreams. After all that he got to be a father of thusand children and there will be more.. I hope that his pupils will spread that love and positivity, help others in need. Possibly not for free, but at a low price so many will get help or even all people in need

a very noble cause indeed,I wonder if with Mr.Neeson Hollywood ties,he could shed some desperately. needed light on the homeless children of pakastan that are beaten,raped,forgotten,heart breaking,I wish I had the financial means to help in some way ,the homeless children on every continent

Helping the poor children whole heartedly could be true and sincere.. but 'owning nothing' and becoming poor again is a BIG DOUBT. Ask any financial adviser or self-made millionaires.
