How adorable is Squish?! Tawny frogmouths are masters of disguise. They are extremely well camouflaged when sitting still on tree branches. What other animal do you know of that are amazing at blending into their environment?

Pamela Johnson: If you're talking about Suish-she fell out of her nest & lost her parents. How perfect is that? If you're talking about Bindi and Chandler--she lost her amazing Dad and with her family she has coped beautifully, but perfect? I don't think so.

PERTURBED means: feeling anxiety or concerned, unsettled. Thank You Bindi and Chandler for sharing the history of this baby beauty! I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 🍁 and I have never heard of this bird before. It’s really cool to know that MOMMY and DADDY bird stay together for life, and that DADDY bird “helps around the house “ ops I mean nest, if that’s what they call it!

You guys are so important to the world, and to those of us who care so much about the animals that you care for. I loved Steve and Terri from the first time I ever watched the Crocodile Hunter. I don't mind admitting that I still get really teary-eyed when I watch one of the shows. I was with my grandchildren when we heard the terrible news about Steve, and we all cried. All the world suffered a loss when we lost Steve. It makes me so proud and happy to see you all carrying on with his work, and so obviously loving the work and the animals as much as he did. Congratulations on your own adorable little "kit, " the newest of the next generation at Australia Zoo.

BTW I grew up watching bindi and her family on TV the Australian zoo crew was like a babysitter when my mom needed to clean or something lol I even remember her dad helping her catch her first croc and how proud he looked while teaching his little girl about those frogs with teeth

I looked up Tawny frogmouths. They look like if a frilled fish sprouted wings. Seriously, look these things up. You will gain a new appreciation for a bird that will scare you just by opening its mouth.
