PM Modi in Austria: दो दिवसीय ऑस्ट्रिया दौरे पर गए प्रधानमंत्री मोदी दूसरे दिन वियना में एक सामुदायिक कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए. इस दौरान उन्होंने भारतीय समुदाय को संबोधित भी किया और बताया कि भारत ने दुनिया को युद्ध नहीं बल्कि बुद्ध दिए हैं. वियना में हुए इस सामुदायिक कार्यक्रम में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जैसे ही मंच पर पहुंचे वैसे ही लोग 'मोदी, मोदी' के नारे लगाने लगे.
भारतीय समुदाय को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा, "ऑस्ट्रिया का ये मेरा पहला दौरा है जो उत्साह, उमंग मैं यहां देख रहा हूं वो अद्भूत है. 41 साल बाद भारत के किसी पीएम का यहां आना हुआ है." उन्होंने आगे कहा, "ये इंतजार एक ऐतिहासिक अवसर पर खत्म हुआ है. भारत और ऑस्ट्रिया अपनी दोस्ती के 75 वर्ष मना रहा हैं."
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने अपने संबोधन के दौरान कहा कि भौगोलिक दृष्टि से भारत और ऑस्ट्रिया दो अलग-अलग छोर पर हैं, लेकिन हम दोनों के बीच अनेक समानताएं हैं. पीएम मोदी ने आगे कहा कि लोकतंत्र हम दोनों देशों को जोड़ता है. स्वतंत्रता, समानता, बहुलवाद और कानून शासन का आदर ​हमारी साझा मूल्य हैं. हम दोनों समाज बहु संवर्धित और बहुभाषी हैं.
