Hamburg - Österreichs Hockey-Herren schlagen Gastgeber Deutschland in einer spektakulären Partie mit 7:6 und ziehen bereits vor dem letzten Gruppenspiel ins Finale (Sonntag, 11.12.2022, ab 13:55 Uhr live auf ORF Sport+) ein. Moritz Frey, der herausragende Fabian Unterkircher (2x) und natürlich Michael Körper (4x) erzielen die Tore für Österreich. Körper führt nun mit 14-Treffern die Torschützenliste an.

I found this from a floorball video. Could someone explain why left-handed sticks aren’t used?

Its mostly because you can only play the ball with one side of your stick. Plus, if there were left-handed sticks, the concept of forehand and backhand would be useless. While those hockeysticks do exist, they dont get used very often, especially on higher levels.

Both indoor and outdoor hockey only use right handed sticks and you can only use the one side. Just part of the game.

It would be dangerous as well, especially in the outdoor version

For left handed people it is actually easier because you use your left hand most with these sticks. The right is just for guidance
