April 4th 2023 Austrian Airlines had its first departure between Billund Airport (BLL) and Vienna (VIE).
Austrian Airlines will have 3 weekly departures to begin with. The departures are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
With this route to Vienna, Billund Airport now have a "full house" as it serves all 5 major hubs in the Lufthansa Group.
The route will give access to Austria during summer and winter time, which will be a very good and easy way to go hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter.
