the cargo trains are a pretty great idea, they provide add ons to your city and makes your city more realistic

Honestly, 7939, 60052 and 7898 are my favorites out of the city cargo trains.

Of all the trains so far in the City line, I especially like the Red cargo train from 2014. If I had to pick 'em ALL apart to list what I do like, well, notta from the 2006 cargo train, the Octan tanker from the yellow train, the locomotive, boxcar, and the MoW car from the red cargo train, the cargo depo from the blue cargo train, the container wagon & crane from the most recent green cargo train, and the Kalmar stacker from the recent cargo train.

This video revived my interest in Lego trains, good thing EBay has a good amount of retired sets for sale

The first train brought me back so many memories. Parents bought me that set when I was like 7 and I have some of the parts of the set to this day. Unfortunately my trian motor is busted, the wire is missing, and the entire battery box chassis is missing Aswell. I might even buy another one if I still can.

The cargo train deluxe was my first train and I still have it

I actually bought the cargo train deluxe, it wasnt complete, missing 2 cars, all minifigures except for a replacement driver and some accesories but i have the loco, 2 boxcars and the 2 coal cars, the guy was selling duplicates of them, all that for 900 swedish crowns, now thats a deal, it works and has a front lamp
