Autel Evo Nano+ at Kleiner Park a Fall Flight

My Autel Evo Nano+ appears to be fully sorted now after a trip to Bothell Washington for a little TLC from the folks at Autel. This was pretty much just another shake down flight.

Thanks for the great video! I'm a native Washingtonian and spent a bunch of time in Idaho over the years growing up hunting fishing and family vacations. I'm in the military and have lived on the East coast now for about 7 years. It's so great to be reminded of the natural beauty the PNW has to offer. Thanks for doing it justice!

It took me a while to buy one and I'm glad I waited since the bugs are now worked out and the price is less than half (on ebay) of what it was a year ago.

I tell ya what. My Evo 2 always lands within inches of where it takes off. Evo 2 is probably the most underrated bird. I use mine a LOT (for a roofing co.) without issue.

Great flight in the cold, Marcus. I have the same issues when I go from Parrot to DJI, they seem to put functions on different screens and just when I figure it out, I fly the other drone!

Thanks for another great flight! You don't need to worry about the birds damaging your drone. They are better flyers than you and I will ever be! I've once deliberately flew an RC aircraft through a flock of migrating ducks. A perfectly circular hole opened as they moved out of the way. They didn't know what my aircraft was, but they didn't want anything to do with it!

Took delivery of my nano + today, managed to get a quick flight in, dull and cloudy, the video quality is unreal! Definitely some witch craft occuring....just a shame you can only charge the battery in the drone tho (don't have multi charger). Even my fimi mini could charge off the drone.

Enjoyable flight at Kleiner as always. No apologies needed; keeping straight all the drone menus you encounter can’t be easy. I’m glad that the repairs on this drone turned out well. I've been very interested in this drone ever since it came out. The reason I haven't purchased it is that numerous reviews have said it doesn't do well in a good breeze. Have you seen any improvement in this area?

That heavily depends on your budget. I'd look at the Air 2s, Mavic 3, or Evo 2 Pro. Wide range in prices. For the mini drones look at the Mini 2 and Mini 3. This one does 'okay' but not as well as the DJI mini's.

Thank you! The DJI Inspire 2 is probably best in the wind. For lower priced drones the Mavic 3 is the one you want.

Marcus, is there any reason to own this drone if I have a Mini 3 pro, Air 2s, and a Mini 2? I have wanted the Nano + since it was announced, but now I'm wondering does it bring anything to the table that DJI drones don't?

The only reason would be if you do low light video. The Nano+ has an RYYB sensor.
