How to use Autel IM608 & APB130 adapter to read a VW polo 2016 dashboard. Retrieving the data from chip and calculating the IMMO data. This was a dashboard sourced from eBay so no ECU data available for sync calculations.

I tried to do the same on a VW Golf 2018 with an MQB NEC35xx via OBD unsuccessfully. My scenario was to add a key (proximity key). I've tried with Autel IM608 II and with VVDI2. I believe the cluster was secured and that's why I couldn't read it. May I need to do it the way you do, by removing the Instrument Cluster. Good job. Thanks for sharing.

some 2015+ models have secured RH850 processor. better check processor and confirmed with us. If rh850 cluster, need vvdi key tool plus. they have a rh850 adapter for it. www.obdii365.com/wholesale/xhorse-xdnpr8gl-mqb-rh850v850-adapter.html

Hello, does apb130 is really works with xp400 (not pro)? I thinking to sell my xp400 to buy after it xp400pro, which according with official descrion works with apb130.

no need to lift the pin bro just cut the track in front of that pin and solder wire to pin
