What's good man! You've been killing it with the awesome content bro! I wanted to ask if you could consider in the future doing a video on an all keys lost nissan sentra 2012 but the twist system version, the one that detects the transponder from the emergency key and how you'd go about tackling that! I'm aware perhaps lishi and instacode but still could be a fun video with the autel.

i bought a ms919 and the sales man is trying to give me a free tool max pro if i buy a dolphin 2 005l key cutter.i mostly work on domestic vehicals ,hyandai ,some honda,few jetta. will the max pro do most or those keys and remotes or should i wait and buy a im608 pro .since it has more features

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE I have few id46 chips with uncut blade (+) but when I can it it says chip is locked. And I believe I tried to problem these couple times but vehicle does not program it. Example would be 2008 Chevy Tahoe. It is comon with may Chevy vehicles.

Try to program just the remote itself manually and see if that will work. Also try your spare key/remote if you have one. Otherwise I believe something wrong with the car itself.

my local locksmith tried to program 2 new fobs and he told me that the instrument cluster would not light up and it will not go into the on position what can it be???

What is meant by "test key?" The Hyde book lists HU 101 as test key. Can I use it to make key for customer? Thanks

The test key is a key without chip also known as a mechanical key wont start car but will unlock door! Hu101 is for a ford high security key.. it's hidden inside the smart key

You usually cut a test key first and make sure it works before you cut the emergency key, so you don’t waste an emergency key if for some reason you have the cuts/key code wrong.

Hi Mykey! I have a problem. I have a 2009 Nissan Altima hybrid 2.5L and I may have bricked bcm? I used autopropad and unlocked steering wheel successfully- then I chose 20 pin on accident instead of 4 pin (stupid of me) and my prox key was erased - I was wanting to add a key both are oem remotes. Now all keys are 0 in system and it fails to communicate when trying to program. Did I Brock it? How do I exit steering wheel lock mode to try and program again? This is my personal car. So I’m willing to replace the bcm if it can’t be fixed

Try disconnecting battery for a couple minutes.. yes chances are it did get messed up for chosing the wrong option.. try also turning on your emergency lights! Sorry for the late reply! Let me Know how it went!

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE no prob! Yes I tried these things. The steering lock mechanism failed during programming and I’ve replaced it but still can’t do all keys lost. I may have to either replace steering lock again yo make sure it works or replace bcm or learn escl

This once happened to me the programmer that was able to release steering lock and program key was the Smartpro programmer!!

@@iskooobydoo yes. I ended up using a different key- also keep the key in the slot for a while until you see it red on dash, the key light. When you see the red key light, try programming as akl

Damn, the IM608 PRO is awesome, do you recommend the IM608 PRO or PRO KPA ? Apparently the difference between PRO & PRO KPA is that KPA includes north American vehicles or something like that, don't know how far that's true.

Fancy a laugh. Turned up at last customer of the day. Talks real fast. Jogging bottoms. Beard. Eyes with round pupils like on drugs. So my deal with all customers is when I arrive, they leave me to it. They text confirming they understand this before I come. So this dude says he will come back in 15 mins and see how I’m doing. No brain. Hour aint fifteen minutes. So job is his car bmw 3 series is dead. No power to ignition. Dash. No central locking. Nothing. He thinks it’s the bmw sensor on the Meg term of the battery. Even bought a new battery as thinks it could be that. People that don’t know should leave it to the professionals. I found jump start plug with power in engine bay. Told him first place to check is fuses. He questioned why I would say that. Oh my god. Exactly why I don’t have customers standing around me. They are mostly stupid. He paid me half and said he was getting another guy to check tomorrow but thanks anyway. Ha ha. I got sacked from the job.

See then theres those costumers .. the meth heads .. that rip out the whole car and expect you to fix their mistakes.. i often get those yes.. I already learned how to spot a red flag i always ask 100 questions as to how they lost there keys and if the have thouched or removed anything 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you will get those alot especially in the middle of the nights

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE i wont be doing the middle of the nights. Im a mobile mechanic. Get very good money from this job alone. Keys is something else. If I have to work night shift to do it, it aint for me. I do it days only. Part time locksmith

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE ok so todays was worse. I turned up to a guy which bought a shit heap last night from a part of UK notorious for drugs. The car has been badly painted down one side. Clearly in an accident. Guy gets 60 miles back and it breaks down. When asked did you enquire about service history and last time repaired, he said he didnt. So when I got to the car I was armed with a few things collected from the shop on his behalf. One being a new battery. 2 a ground lead. 3 a camshaft sensor. I start the job but the guy wont leave. So many stupid questions. I hate people being beside me when I am trying to work. The bullshit questions like oh so you have a dog. How old is he. Blah fucking blah blah. Pushing on I remove various components to find the sensor in worst position. Needs more time. Customer says no he cant give more time so even though he was uber paranoid about driving the car without the part being changed, suddenly he wants it put back together with the old part left there. When I get around to doing the key, im so pissed hes there asking dumb questions the key part goes wrong. Both keys not working. Then i get one working and all the while hes there. I tell him he must have a brain problem or something. If he wont go away all hes doing is trying to make it not work. Im going to get tough on customers now. They sign a legal agreement to f off. If they dont I leave and they get nothing. I changed the customer battery. From a good battery to another good battery. Hes a fool.
