RECIPE BELOW! Welcome back to another video guys - this is my recipe for my Authentic Jamaica Jerk Sauce! Of course here we just call it jerk sauce :)❤️ What will you be trying it on first?! Enjoy so much!

For the Jerk Tofu, I pressed the tofu, sliced them, poked some holes in it and added about ⅓ cup of jerk sauce over to marinate it in. I left it for at least 3 hours but you could do overnight. Then I baked it at 450F for 15 minutes on a grill pan! Or, you could of course, grill it on an actual grill!

I was reading the website where you said that one use is.....Swimming in it!!!! lol..ur really hilarious..love it...but yeah...Jerk seasoning/sauce is amazing..being a chef lecturer in Trinidad and Tobago, I of course have alot of jerked meat and vegetables as part of my daily life...Keep up the excellent work.

Great recipe. I add some powdered cinnamon which really enhances the other island spices. If you can’t find dark soy sauce you can get a liquid “browning” sauce to eliminate the green color. Fresh habanero peppers are much easier to find than scotch bonnet in the US. I make this several times a month. Awesome jerk chicken

I am happy I found you it is nice recipe ! 🤗 Also, I really appreciate the fact that you have a good loud microphone system. Good investment my dear ! I know its not authentic. But i put in a bit of pineapple and carra carra orange. Also rice vinegar. This sauce is bomb thanks!

I cook mine off let it cool then bottle it. If you cook it off it last longer in the fridge. When it's cooked off the veggies don't spoil fast.

yes, but they're smaller and have less heat. I can't find scotch bonnets here either so I used about 5 habaneros for a low-medium heat level.

You can use any pepper of your choice! But won’t give the same flavor as scotch bonnets

Scotch bonnet is an absolutely elementary part of jerk recipes. You could make it with habanero, it would probably be just as spicy, but it won't taste authentic.

The mixture needs to be diluted, but water will literally water it down - vinegar does the same thing while maintaining the flavour AND helping to preserve the sauce!
