AUTHOR ANNE RICE talks PRINCE LESTAT, FANDOM and MUCH MORE

Iconic author ANNE RICE recently sold the film rights to the ENTIRE "Vampire Chronicles" series of blockbuster novels to Universal Pictures, which includes the forthcoming PRINCE LESTAT. She announced the return of the Brat Prince exclusively to THE DINNER PARTY SHOW; in this clip, she reveals juicy details about the book's plot and returning characters to co-hosts CHRISTOPHER RICE and ERIC SHAW QUINN.
Ms. Rice also discusses the Lestat Ball in New Orleans, "paracosm" and the community of passionate fans that have sprung up in response to her characters.

I miss Anne! I miss when she would engage so heavily on Facebook and provide her input on world events, literature, and entertainment and more...and she wasn't afraid to knock down the detractors who came about the post(s) with negative vibes. I opened "Interview with the Vampire" in 2010, watched the film shortly afterwards, and was left mesmerized that my feelings as an atheist were reflected in that of a vampire--though the circumstances were entirely different when it came to being "othered". Rest well, Anne! Your vampires helped many understand and embrace the fact that even though we struggled and suffered with questions beyond our control...we still belong!

I just adore Anne and have loved her books for ever and ever :) So happy she is writing these books again !

Wow I'm not a 'Goth' but now that Anne Rice described what 'Goths' may be, I guess I am one. I just don't have the money and energy to look like one lol

Mrs. Rice I am a big fan of your art work for years yes I said ART that is what your work means to me. I'm waiting for the day you conjure up a trilogy or something lol! On the "Talamasca" wow! you would take us from modern-day to the beginning of history with the Talamasca storyline. Only you the true Queen can xo
