Author of Texas DEI ban responds to UT professor firings

In response to a new Texas law banning diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, the University of Texas at Austin closed its Division of Campus and Community Engagement office and fired dozens of professors, which the law's author, Senator Brandon Creighton, called "consequences of making a change."

I worked in a place that had so much DEI, i had to leave. It was dominated by original DEI's like women and gays.
