Scott another great video! One of the things I’ve had great success with is Pumice hand cleaner (the one in the orange bottle) with a window polishing pad, followed up by a compound and then a polish. It removes heavy water spots and fine scratches from windshield wipers.

So I have a daily driven Kia Stinge that I put 50,000km+ a year with and it has a windshield that has white speckles in bright sunlight. Will this method be able to clear those or greatly reduce them? Also, will polishing my windshield affect the HUD at all? Thanks and I appreciate all your videos, Scott!

Great video! But it really as simple as cleaning of dirt and debris of the windshield and just polishing it? The windshield on my car is about 4ft wide and 2.5ft tall, is this doable by a hand buffing pad?

I was going to use regular rubbing compound for my side windows but I reckon I'm going to go with the Carpro or else I'm going to be disappointed. What's your opinion on glass compounds like Ceriglass vs cerium oxide powders? Btw...In the UK we pronounce Autoglym as autoglim ("i" as in chin or pin). 👍

Would cerium oxide powder remove etched water spots? For some reason k used a microfiber pad and compound that I use for my paint correction and it removed 90% of them but I did just purchased for rayon felt pads for the cerium so just wondering if it will work.

I just did this for over a hour with a 21MM DA, didn't make any progress lol. I am hesitant to get a rotary though, I have never used one. This seems unattainable without one though.

I have some pretty deep scratches on a couple windows so this is great to see! I wonder if you can repair scratches deeper than 500. Could you wet sand the area first with 1000 then 2000 then polish? I wonder if that would also save time on polishing 500 scratches. Like, if it only took 10 mins to remove 2000, and it only take 10 mins to remove a 500 grit scratch with 2000 grit wet sand, then it may take 20 mins to get it done instead of 30 mins. I would really like to see that test before I test it on my car haha. I wouldn't need to do the whole window, just a spot correction. Another issue with windshields is pitting. I don't know how deep they can get but it would be nice to see polishing take care of that issue in your tests too.

I’ve removed scratches to an acceptable level using ceraglass, misting water, a rayon pad, and a 3 inch da polisher with an 8mm throw. However I don’t know how to remove the haze I’ve created. Any tips for which combo I should use? I have access to lots of polishes and pads.

Could anybody help me out i wet sanded my car windows with 2000 and 3000 and definitely lefts some crazy swirl marks would going up to maybe 10000 grit help me put in this process and then i can finish it with this polish method?
