If you use an end portal falling block duper to send gravel into the end, you could use it to farm flint (as it breaks the blocks WITHOUT simulating silk touch). Just discard all the gravel into the void and keep the flint with a simple item sorter.

Now it is so much easier to get shulkurs into the overworld for farms

imagine that, a way to use a sand duper as a blast chamber, while getting both the sand, and whatever we were meant to blow up into items at once. Pretty cool. But I'm also pretty sure that the only way to collect items that are above the obsidian platform, are hopper minecarts underneath, or flowing water to push them. Unless of course, there's a way to stop it from regenerating. At least partially. This means, we can now have end based generic "blast chambers" by using a sand duper, to break whatever items we want to send in there. Just gotta connect the items themselves to a piston feedtape to channel them in there. Many redstoners make really compact redstone builds for a ton of great features/purposes, like wood farms, moss farms, etc; but this seems like such a general purpose way to farming... well, anything really. Oh a server, beat up the dragon enough times to create all the portals around the man island, agree not to summon th edragon ever again, and remove the entire main island, towers an all. Now you can build with a blank canvas, with all the freedom in the world, and a blast chamber ready to use whenever, just turn it on before going in the end, and make sure that it's not gonna be interrupted by other members of the server. I always sai that the end is the best place to build farms anyway. Provided they're compatible with the end in the first place. With the changes to raid farms, that mean they won't be needing natural pillager captain spawns anymore, those could be placed in the end as well, no need whatsoever to be close to a pillager outpost. Just grab a potion from the drops, and drink it. Doesn't change that they're nerfed to oblivion, but still.

i wonder what the rates for a skulk xp farm pushing loads of skulk blocks into the end platform would be. probably nowhere near the actual xp from mobs getting killed but its a unique idea at least

what if we link an enderman farm to it, and then a stone generator with sculk catalyst and then just have an afk xp farm

Gonna hook up my cobble generator to the end platform and have the cobble gathered by hoppers and put into a supersmelter. Then the stone will go to crafters and automatically become stone bricks! :D

*4:28* Please test out sculk! A sufficiently powerful sculk Xp farm could be genuinely good with this change. I love sculk and consider it a super underrated feature. By the way the leash boats are amazing! I could imagine having a whole fleet of boats now, or a sort of a combined ship with a lot of storage and mobs inside, with a drive boat. Very cool stuff.

I would definetly prefer they postpone a release to fix bugs. If a bug exist at release, it will typically stay in the game for an indetermine amount of time.... And on a completely different note, I long for the day when villager POI's can be enabled/dissabled by the player in some way, so villagers wont interact with workstations, beds and doors that you don't want them to do so.

i hope this isnt an excuse to remove tnt duping

Does the end portal block breaking break bedrock if you place one down in creative mode? I can see this being used for any farm that normally would have a blast chamber attached. Tree farms come to mind mostly and you can pump them in 5x3 from 4 directions. Also instead of sand duping you'd want to drop items at a particular rate to get the most out of every refresh, I don't know what would be optimal off the top of my head.

Thankfully I have this massive lava pool under a cave from 1.19 and to this day we haven't farmed all of it. It's stupid massive. Literally a lava lake inside a cave.

The "bug" where you spawn in the same block as per spawn chunks is just Bedrock Edition's spawn radius being set to 0, but for Java.
