To switch off ESP you need to both of the little triangular buttons on either side of the speedo and turn on the ignition from 0-1 not to start the ignition. after a bout 10 seconds the abs light should flash. The routine is in the manual or video here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n56aqNyLmqqzZX0.html

We put them on Porsche, mercedes S, Range Rover P38, Hyunday Santafe.. it dorks best on rear w drive cars. Amazingly fast to put on

@@sinisasavicns sve je bilo uključeno, gume nove, ali sam malo testirao kako se može dif regulirat kočnicom. Neki su mi rekli kad smart kopa malo zategni ručnu pa dif brebaci snagu na dugi kotač. Tako da ne, sve je bilo uključeno jer nisam vadio ništa. To bi bila 100 smrt na cesti 😊

It has esp..unfortunatly with the smart in that model the 450 1998 to 2007...it does not allow the wheels to spin to gain traction it cuts the power to the wheel that spinning..works great in dry and wet weather unfortunatly it gets over overpowered by snow and you simply can get the smart to move..on the roadster and later 451 smart you have a esp diactivation button which allows wheels to spin and gain traction.. there was a plug you could buy which plugs into diagnostic terminal which did the same thing but it also diactivated the abs and lateral g force sensors.. only designed to get you moving and not to drive with.. these sniw sock were a solution.. wish i had them in 2010 when snow hit europe my smart 450 brabus was a fun crazy car to drive but when the first snow came.. complete shite.. bought a jimny next year.. kept the brabus for summer use after that..

Bug is a legend. It was perfect for any road. Smart is smart for city and short trips (smart people 😁) best City car ever! Auto sock for ice on road is realy the best and fast solution for this car. For any car! I am not getting any money for this but i love inteligent and old solutions for grip on ice and snow. Happy 2020. Crazy number right?

@@TheMitjakozelj oh i agree the sock is great for my smart if i had snow. i have a 39 kubelwagen too, and it is just like a bug or thing and chugs thru the sand or snow like nobodies problem. i just wondered why they both being rear engine cars dont do the same with snow.....as the bug, thing kubelwagen do i have owned more bugs since the 60s than any other car. this is my first smart. i was surprised it needed any help, like chains or a sock. love the sock, so easy to put on. - i remember the vw ad '' how does the snow plow driver get to his snow plow''? i just figured the smart would be similar

The round ones at the rear...did not fully understand your question...however smart cars where mainly fitted with yokohamas on the brabus models ...dont know about other model since i only owned a 450 brabus .. :)

Its a car bro not a jeep...it has esp limited slip diff.. unfortunatly early models of the smart you could not turn off the esp allowing wheel to spin to gain traction.. the cpu used to cut the power to driven wheel... works grat in summer and rain condition..snow used to over power the system to the point you remain stuck..later models the 451 and 452 and the roadsters all had esp traction control off buttons. The 450 did not.

Smart has semi auto box and drive by wire ie electronic accelerator...its actually hard to feather throttle control unlike older cable control... while it does not have creap mode like full auto car it needs to spin engine up to engagge clutch... so when the wheels start to spin the esp takes the power off the spining wheel..smart 450 models 1998 to mid 2007 did not have diactivatble sorry incorrect spelling...esp traction control unlike the roadsters and later models of the 451.452 of today..

Hi Riky. Autosock is so small you can have it under seat🙂. When snow or ice on road and winter tires dont work any more it is so fast to putt them on! No one will tell me i cant save my family and my car from danger on the road. Just saying
