Autoantibodies in Long COVID (update

We go over a report proposing a theory that many of the Long COVID symptoms can be explained by auto-antibodies (antibodies targeting the host's own body elements) that target muscarinic receptors in our body. We provide detailed examples of how different muscarinic receptors if targeted, would result in specific symptoms. The interest in this topic was borne out of a prior study that showed that vagus nerve activation could reduce auto-antibody levels.

The vagus nerve is key (I don't know how exactly) but is critical to inflamation/atni-inflamation mechanisms. My brother aquired some sort of rheumatoid arthritis I suspect after an infuenza vaccine, and since has shown onsets after the vaxx and viral infections.

The proposed theory that autoantibodies targeting muscarinic receptors contribute to Long COVID symptoms has significant implications for future research and the current understanding of COVID-19. This perspective highlights the need to explore the role of autoimmunity and specific receptor targets in post-acute sequelae of COVID-19, emphasizing the potential for novel therapeutic approaches such as vagus nerve stimulation. Furthermore, the interplay between the microbiome, prevalent pathogens, and the immune response in Long COVID patients, particularly in LMICs, warrants comprehensive investigation. Understanding how microbiome composition and co-infections influence autoantibody production and disease progression could lead to more effective, context-specific treatments. Future research should prioritize identifying biomarkers for autoimmunity and developing targeted interventions to mitigate the long-term impacts of COVID-19 globally.

@31:50 He mentions cleaning the blood, similar to dialysis. I've wondered about this kind of treatment for long covid for a while now. And the fact that it seems to have a short term positive effect leads to me to believe that the spike protein is actively targeting red blood cells and that is the reason why it doesn't show up in testing. Because the virus is where no one is looking. I would love to see this theory addressed(disproven) by someone.

The vagus nerve can be addressed and released by addressing the soft tissue around it, speciically the SCM ( sternocleidomastoid) muscle. Many times entraps this nerve as well as the diaphragm muscle since it is the only nerve from the cervical area that passes through the diaphragm. Which can also be manually released. Coughing would be an aggravant to both these muscles and therefor the vagus nerve. The Epley manuever also helps rid of POTS. It worked for me and So many oeople i know. May have to do a few times. Only takes 2-4 minutes, how to videos on KZfaq. Good luck
@Merogenomics
@Merogenomics Ай бұрын
This is awesome news and makes sense. The vagus nerve is like a master sensor and you can affect its performance in many ways. It is supposed to be sensitive to breathing (and have specific biological responses accordingly) so it makes sense that certain muscles under the guidance of the vagus nerve can also influence its sensitivity of information being relayed to the brain. The more vagus nerve health practices to make sure this puppy is properly active, the better!

Great content. I pulled up the paper and will read it next. The muscarinic type 3 agonist theory seems to explain why my POTS-like symptoms present with bradycardia/PVCs rather than tachycardia. My disabling orthostatic intolerance eventually led to a dx of Pure Autonomic Failure with atypical presentation (lack of classic orthostatic hypotension) based on skin biopsy (Lewy bodies in peripheral autonomic nerves) and loss of cardiac sympathetic innervation on MIBG (nuclear) scan. My neurologists think it could be Covid and/or vaccine related, as there is some in vitro research showing that spike protein induces acceleration of alpha synuclein's misfolding into Lewy Bodies, and they have seen similar skin biopsy findings in a group of young post-Covid POTS patients. Pretty terrifying stuff! The big question is, what do we do now? I suppose the first step is to define the problem; this unifying theory seems to help with that.

I would check for vitamin and mineral deficiencies since they all play a role in proper immune function and at least can be easy rapid fix. This sounds like auto-immune issues possibly but this is such a complex area, microclots could be involved etc. Although the more I study all of this, the more all of this is interlinked and sometimes biology can be thrown out of balance. @@Merogenomics I understand. I do not think they would be discussing this in scientific papers YET because it would mess up the narrative they want to propagate. We will learn about this AFTER all the delayed damage has been done. It is latently laying tucked away in the inner recesses of the jabbed, and has not been activated YET. That’s how the shots were designed, as to not draw suspicion. Latent activation of different components.

Any protein that is non self and produced as the result of transfection will almost certainly have the same result. The spike protein may be synthetically produced, like all viral clones and all virology is based. But the body will always recognise non self.

Would you do a video on how the spike protein attaches to the nicotine receptors. There are studies about it. Many people have chewed nicotine to knock off the spike protein. There was news in the beginning of the pandemic that those who smoked actually did not get sick, which was fascinating. Thank you. This was also interesting. The muscarinic receptors play such a big part in our bodies.

Mast Cell Activation Syndrome appears to be one autoimmune response to Covid. The Medical profession is not trained to recognize MCAS. I know because it happened to me, but I surmised my severe skin infection was an autoimmune response & discovered MCAS in researching my symptoms. MCAS is thought to be a major variable related to long Covid. Have you looked into this Dr. Raszek?

My theory from the beginning of the pandemic is that many people would be sufferimg from postinfectious symtoms/ autoimmun disease.( I know I have before and now also from covid. I have also in later year been diagnosed with EDS as I Suspected myself for many years) And my theory is that there is a genetic cause that makes certain groups wounerable. CONNECTIVE TISSUE SYNDROMES like EDS Ehlersdanlossyndromes hypermobility syndromes. Post covid symtoms are the same as symtoms as seen in these people. Decided to do my best to get reserchers and doctors and people to pay attention to this. Did this by searching and comparing genes symtoms and consequensies and publish scientific studies about the different things involved to back upp my theory. done this in many fb.groups. and also been writing to reserchers around the world about it. And There seem to be studies now proving that I was right about it. They mention almost exactly what I've been saying.

My son had Hashimotos and his autoantibodies were rising slowly. After several untreated covid infections out of nowhere he got myocarditis. Is doing well and cleared by a cardiovascular doctor and a heart MRI. After that his autoantibodies went high and rose by 200 a month.He had to go on levothyroxine. 75 due to 611 autoantibodies.This has been horrible. He also has long covid symptoms but those symptoms can also be hashimotos. I read that they were treating long covid-19 with levothyroxine. And Low Dose Naltrexone treats long covid. Many pier reviews on LDN and you can order it on your own from ageless RX. I used a wellness doctor that started my son on this. Then I found it on line and you do not need a doctor.

Well, all I know is that I have POTS with high alpha 1 and beta 2 adrenergic receptor antibodies. My dad also has sarcoidosis. I think that maybe those antibodies reduce adrenaline and that could cause mast cell activation syndrome. There also might have some relation with collagen since my family has all the traits for ehlers danlos. I would make a study with people with sarcoidosis to test if they have ehlers danlos and adrenergic receptor antibodies. Beta 2 adrenergic receptors have also been linked with asma and other pulmonary issues

@Merogenomics
@Merogenomics Ай бұрын
I had to look it up and it seems like it is targeting one of the muscarinic receptor types. Interesting idea that at the moment I know nothing about but the key with the vagus nerve is that it can quickly be desensitized, not necessarily damaged but if infected by virus, it could possibly experience some damage. Not sure at the moment how regeneration is induced but vagus nerve activation obviously is a way to enhance performance sensitivity at least
