It really is. For $200 I can get a really really nice old GMP or Highway 61 model that is lightyears ahead with the engine bay and little details.

Dodge calls it Sinamon. Guessing they are going for Sin-amon since it is a hell-cat. I've bought a few now, seems that is the only way to get a really highly detailed model now, unfortunately. They do look great though!

I have a few. I have also sold a few after a while. They execute some really and others... you can just kind of tell the difference from the diecasts. It's as if the paint application on the composite gives it away. The paint finish looks great but there is something about them I can't put my finger on the screams "not metal". Autoart has become spoiled and arrogant due to passed success and a lack of competition. Yea, maybe the composite executes more accurate scaling and tighter gaps. But I feel as though they were accomplishing that already. The diecast nissan r35 couldn't get any tighter in my opinion. The mazda rx7 spirit r is just about perfect as well.. especially compared to kyoshos version. Autoart definitely hasn't helped out with the financial aspect since going composite. They seem to only put worthwhile effort into a few select releases while basically saying here this is what we made and you will pay this for it anyway with the rest. Not a good way to treat your consumer and fan base for sure.. I want the Honda NSX type-r (NA2). I know it's composite but it looks great and have to sort of suck it up for now. Hopefully these behind the scenes manufacturers sprouting up with their own releases (ex. Super A, Well, LCD...) will give Autoart a possible reality check.
