Hey everybody,
In todays video I go over how to copy linework, text, blocks etc.. from one drawing to another. This great little trick will save you tons of time and effort!
why bother re drawing anything you've already done before. Just open of the old drawing and copy what you'd like to the new one.

Hi Brandon, I have a dwg file that does not have the same line weights as my template, how do I make my job easier? at the moment I am matching properties (frustrating) looking for a better way to work more efficiently :)

ty for help. I want to ask a question I didnt find an answer for a week in the Internet. I draw house project for my studies and i want to draw hatch and to hatch some stuff but then I draw hatch it doesnt draw correctly or doestn draw at all, what I see is a solid filled colour. for example I use simple bricks pattern but it just doestn draw. Then I tried first time I needed to zoom a lot to see hatching but then I tried to hatch next time it didnt draw at all. :((( any ideas? Some ppl told me to change a scale but I just cant because i cant see my hatching. It is hard to explain it you must see it..

used to be, when utilising MOVE command, you could right-click half way through the command, use ZOOM to go to a different part of the drawing, and then enter the destination point of the objects you are trying to move. In AutoCad 2016 when you try this you lose the objects when you attempt to ZOOM. Why is this?

hey, Adam's mum. I have few issues, first- I transferred the object i wanted successfully before but today when I tried- the model I had on the drawing (the one I wanted to have two drawings on- original i transferred one) disappeared. second- in one drawing one model has two dimensions but one is the size I want but second dimension is too small despite the same properties. Please, answer me asap as I'm very late with schedule (deadline on this Monday), thank you

Can anyone help me out here.. After pasting objects from one drawing to another the thickness of the lines have changed. I tried to use match properties option but it isn't working.
