It's a shame about the VW diesel emission scandal, my mother's 2014 Passat TDI was probably the most fuel efficient car ever, it drove us from Houston Texas, all the way to the Florida panhandle, using not even 3/4 of fuel.

my daughter just got a 2014 jetta tdi and it dont got no sunroof and it came with the keys to start it,no button.and you cant unlock it with the door handle..its red

Do you recommend buying one of these in 2020? I’m in the market for a new car and I came across a Jeta like this one but it is my first time shopping for a German vehicle and I’m quite nervous. It is also a diesel and I’ve been reading lots of good things about MPG but I’m still nervous.

I got a 2013 tdi and it’s very good daily driver. Got it at 60k miles from dealership with the dieselgate fix, at 88k miles now no problems. Only have to change oil every 10k miles. I would recommend.

Parker Garrett I ended up getting one 2015 with 59K miles and no regrets.

@@J0hn.R Enjoy it. This model Jetta (both the diesel and gas options) are very reliable. The DSG is a great transmission but make sure you service it every 40k miles.

Antoine Pageau buyback was an option, and Volkswagen is fixing the buybacks and reselling them

Actually, a white german car with a black interior is pretty rare.. For some reason they almost always came with barfed out tan which did NOT age well
