I've had Celiac for about 8 years. Then I was diagnosed with Graves earlier this year. I was in a very stressful and toxic job that I left last year. I know now that took its toll because I had mild graves symptoms for months. Then we had to say goodbye to our 12 year old dog in December 2023. That was the final trigger to push Graves over the edge and I was really sick in January.

I do relate so much! Thank you, Dr. E! My "diagnose" was almost hipochondria... For years I had a lot of weard symptoms - brainfog, no resilience, muscle pain, deep exhaustion, allergies etc. And all the daily doings, my work and relationship became more & more challenging. In my head I knew: this is not me, not my character nor "hypochondriac" - this is a health issue. But I was seldom taken seriously. One doctor said, I dramatise, when I once said, it feels like I am dying. When I felt really bad one day, some crucial marker in my blood were tested and showed up poorly. Finally I was diagnosed with a severe autoimmune desease. Then I got ONE pill and have been send home with the words "there is nothing you can further do". I asked for nutritional advice, but nope! Luckily I found a private doctor, who diagnosed a chronic lime disease on top and put me on a special nutrition and supplements - just how Dr. E. explains in this video! 👍👍 Furthermore this video is so perfectly structured and offers the best of information! Hopefully, it reaches everyone, who needs to hear this! 👍🏳️‍🌈

This is probably the best explanation on the net. Certainly the best I have seen and heard. I started with fibromyalgia after a car crash. After my dog died, my constant companion for 15 years. Things started going down hill. Then my partner ( a triple heart bypass patient of nearly 20 years?nearly died after his Covid vaccine. Doctor ran an ANA and now diagnosed with Lupus. Completely agree with diet. I got a gluco meter to assess which foods spike with me. Some were surprising. My recent HBa1c was amazing. I can’t be treated allopathically as I react to everything in one way or another. Curcumin oil (active ingredient in turmeric) is a game changer for me. We need to take responsibility.

This explains a lot: I got hypotiroidism and early menopause some time after my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer (2021), I got therapy because my anxiety and panic attacks (my mom and I are taking care of him, we dont want to send him to anywhere but home). Now Im battling with food intolerances (burning mouth syndrome). My life style wasnt a role model, Im thinking that maybe hepatitis I had when I was a kid play a role too... and my whole family is plagued with gastritis, my brother was detected with H. Pylori and get help... I didnt want to do same ("why should I, its not painfull" I thought) because of you, last saturday took the test, results would be send this week. Thanks a loooot. I was sad when doctors said the treatment available for me was "only pills", now I have solid hope. Blessings.

Love the explanation about autoimmune. Best I've ever seen and short too. Just enough information to begin with. I was wondering though, is Eczema considered an autoimmune disease? It's kinda similar to psoriasis sometimes but not the same.

Does something really need to "turn it on" ? How do we know the immune system actively attacks? What about there isn't something that "turns it off" ? In which case, perfectly normal cellular function, gets out of control, because it isn't being turned off (turned down, regulated)? Would this not explain the variety of systems (organs) being affected, better than the immune system decided to attack this or that organ for no apparent reason? The labs are normal for the vast majority of autoimmune patients (you know this only too well), which means the labs are telling us that there isn't anything wrong. The immune system isn't doing anything wrong, it isn't attacking anything or planning to attack anything. Everything works just fine, until the need for the brakes, to stop the normal function from getting out of control. It seems more probable, to me, that the immune system isn't doing something wrong that causes the runaway immune response, but more likely that it is not doing something right to avoid the runaway immune response. The bottom line being that it isn't accelerating like crazy out of control for no reason, it's just the brakes that aren't effective in stopping it from getting out of control.

I never had excema in my life....until the Canada wildfire smoke coming down into Upstate NY (a couple of summers ago). Then BOOM! My hand exploded with itchy bubbles that I could not stop scratching. Hand looked like hamburger. Even when it began to heal, the skin became dry and cracked open and bled....so painful. Almost 2 years later, it's not fully healed. Especially when I have a stressful say....itch-city!
