Learn about Nornir Python automation framework. No more domain-specific language (DSL) for your automation tasks, just pure Python code. You are no longer limited by the constraints of the tool; as long as you know Python, you can implement any logic you need. Cisco Live Barcelona presentation by Dmitry Figol.
The framework gives you abstractions for an inventory (hosts and groups) and concurrent task execution. "the more i used ansible, the more i liked " ... same here, used ansible 2011-2014 happily, then as projects grew bigger i moved more far and more far away. still have to listen who can't even keep playbooks in sync between envs about how awesome ansible is :-)

Why isn't this a section of Cisco DevNet certs? Why Puppet and Ansible? No one is using Puppet.

i guess the market drive us to use those orchestration tools. But i believe most of Network folks right now does not want to learn Python, maybe they believe that it just easier to go with Ansible.

For general automation I'd say Robot Framework, for network automation I think it's Nornir.
