Automated Random LEGO Train Switches | Programs Downloadable

Күн бұрынThis video shows how you can automate LEGO train switches such that they changing their direction randomly. Incoming trains are detected by sensors which causes a motor to move. This process is controlled by either LEGO Mindstorms (31313 or 51515) or Powered Up Hubs (CIty and Technic).
The programs can be downloaded at github.com/Teg....
The powered up hubs are programmed using Pybricks (pybricks.com).

I assembled one of the switches (luckily still had a Technics L motor, a Cityhub and a color sensor lying around). Works brilliantly.

Note: the linked video for the switch assembly only works for 6W, not 8W. I had to modify the build to use 2 rows less towards the track, so that even the BlueBrixx 8W Rheingold carriages manage to pass the switch block.
