Thank you Raghav for this! I was stuck thinking of a way of forcing out of a workflow soon as an error occurred in the test but I wanted the test to continue regardless and just handle the error by taking note of it for reporting. This is a good method of taking care of that scenario. 👍

Very important topic. A Developer will definitely use this often. I had trouble understanding as I was not able to throw the right messages back to the user as I was a bit confused about how to use Try/Catch. Thank you. Great video as always! I have a doubt, what is the benefit of using a Rethrow Activity? Can't we just use the Throw Activity since you can throw it anywhere in your workflow, unlike Rethrow which can only be used inside of a Catch block? Regards, Hsa

I got the concept of throw but why there is need of rethrow.. Throw will exit the that module and will customized message. In which real time scenario, i can make use of rethrow? and what if we don't want to exit from that module and we want to continue with other modules of project?

Can you catch errors causing in the called workflow that has no try-catch block or rethrow from called workflow to calling workflow? I know you can use the try-catch in the child and pass back error message in out arguments but so for example, I have sequence File A and I have a new sequence File called B in that I am doing some activity but B has no try-catch block but A does. Will A can catch errors caused in the B file?

By using the message box to display "I am in parent try catch block", do you mean to imply that Rethrow activity has got the exception data from child Catch block and displayed it in parent catch block

Yes That’s how the execution flow Works Raveena You can practically create the workflow and get a test done to understand the logical flow happens during execution
