I used to use something similar to this when I was home brewing. Just attached a 40W globe to a timer and set the time to go on and off at regular intervals. If the brew was too hot, just set it a little less on. Too cold and take a few notches out. Never thought about using it for glues etc. I try and do indoor projects during the winter months!

Great video, to the point and clear. Cabinet turned out quite good. In my case I think I convert an old cabinet in my shop (old kitchen cabinet 18" wide) but I will be using the same idea as this.

Some thing insulation would be a great upgrade for places (and shops) that can get very cold. During the winter when things are -30c I usually busy with work and not in the shop, and the temp can fall pretty far as I don't keep the heater on all the time.

It you narrate all your videos the way you did this one, then you are my new best you tube woodworking friend. I Love to work with wood, build stuff, fix stuff, design stuff, but I am a novice and am always looking for videos that walk me through projects. You're the first person I've come across that describes what you are doing in a thorough manner. Thank you for that! I also subscribed to your Green Acre channel because I have a small farm and figured I could learn something from you there as well.

I like this idea....right now I am using up some old finishes I have had in my finish storage in that locker you can see in most of my videos....really taking a gamble on it doing what I need it to since it has been in there close to 2 years in an unheated shed. I wonder if this will work in that old locker........Hmmmm

Well, that sure beats packing all my glue and cold sensitive products into the laundry room, and then having to go from the shop to the house when you need something. Sweet idea, one of those "why didn't I think of that" things, Saw you on Pop wood playback. I'll subscribe.

@@Samcraftcom Love the concept, already have ideas of my own for some simple changes. I think hook board would be a simpler substitute for drilling holes in the shelves and make it easier for heat to get through from shelf to shelf. Thanks for the idea.

True, but some of those cheap LED bulbs will put off heat, too! We got a cheaper set and the heat sinks on them were crazy-hot! I thought "there's no way this is more energy efficient". 😀
