Yea, if your child is scared of auto-flushing toilets, you should cover the sensor with toilet paper and it won't scare the heck out of your child, when your child is done, remove the toilet paper from the sensor and throw it the toilet, and your child should be good to go. I'm 20 and I use this tip every time I see auto-flushing toilets.

@@keciaaskew5166 I have an autoflush toilet fear too along with a fire alarm fear it’s the unexpected flushing noise that gets me with the autoflush toilets and the unexpected noise with fire alarms there both too loud for me and it’s worse if I see a firealarm strobe right above the toilet.

That's what I do, I take 3 or 4 strips of toilet paper and cover it over the sensor.

This is awesome. I had one once where every time I tried to put the paper toilet-seat cover on the seat, it would flush and that little tab piece would pull the cover into the bowl. I must have tried like 4 times. The seat was not the cleanest looking and I really wanted to use it. It finally didn't flush. But this would have saved me a couple minutes and a couple gallons of water.

My biggest fear is of automatic toilets or airplane toilets, I get scared of heated toilet seats or "techno toilets" as I call them. They are terrifying because of the way they look, sound, and just feel. They make me so uncomfortable.

I’m terrified of those black seat toilets they had throughout the 90s and early 2000s now you don’t even see them hardly anymore except for really old bathrooms or park bathrooms I’m terrified of them even as an adult

So true. That happened to me when I was going to an event, since I had to use the bathroom so badly. As soon as I got to the bathroom. It was an automatic toilet. And it flushed when I didn’t use it yet. I was scared and terrified. I used the toilet, and it kept flushing by itself multiple times. I covered my ears and I was crying and having an anxiety attack.

I'm guessing any toilet with a sensor will work, covering the sensor makes it think you're still sitting there so you can clean up without it flushing on you.

Single mom of 2 girls back in 2015 had to deal with my 6 and 8 year old both were just terrified, they stopped flushing after every bathroom use every where, it got so freaking bad I had to go buy a brand new toilet for home that had the most quiet flush so my daughters would stop leaving it unflushed in the morning These horrible toilets should be removed as they ruin and permanently scare your children and makes them using the toilet by themselves impossible

Please view the toilets at Chicago O Hare airport. Everytime I see videos of them, I imagine I'm getting hurt because the sanitize paper spins. What if it spins while you're on it? My mom said it didn't startle her.

Back when I had to use the toilet at the big playground, I had to use the toilet and also we were taking turns on the swing. When I went in the toilet I saw spilled coffee and it's probably a weird bathroom anyways. At least I used the one that doesn't have the coffee. Edit: once I used a automatic flushing toilet. Thank you for the hack And also I found this weird automatically flushing toilet that someone used and it kept flushing and other people said: "There's ghosts in there!" 🤔

Everyone needs to buy an electric bidet. Warm seat, warm bottom wash, air dryer and deodorizer. Used them on my trips to Japan. It’s a life changer especially after trying the old style Asian toilets. 👍

Once when I was in Ocean City Maryland, there was this rest stop with black auto toilets. For some reason I thought the wall mount sensor was a coin slot and I thought my mom put a coin in the sensor, but, the toilet paper holder made the noise, lol, 😂. PS, I'm scared of black toilets, I can't explain it, but, I just am.
