@@joefuller3886yes and no. The harvesting levels don’t impact the amount you get from harvesting the corpse. It affects the amount you get from using the regurgitation ability. I made a video on it around the same time this video came out, which is why I was aware of why the moschops was better 😂

​@ChaosBearGaming while you're right about the moschop being the best, it will not attack anything, it will only harvest bodies. I guess you could have another creature kill the penguins and have the moschop harvest, but there's no guarantee it will get to the body before the killing creature does. Mischop won't work for this method

@@markgaming9102 they 100% will not work for auto harvesting, you are correct. However, based on research that I did, and then members of my community sharing as well, baby penguins hatched from eggs tend to give less polymer than wild baby penguins. You are better taking a pelagornis into the wild to harvest up some babies for huge amounts. Or using moschops on penguins you hatched and let fully grow up. When hatching 5 eggs and using the pelagornis I got between 29-33 polymer. Which is about 6 per penguin. Adults harvested with moschops and then when you use the regurgitate ability you get about 16 per penguin. In a controlled environment the pelagornis gets about 1/3 of the polymer that a moschops does. So it’s almost not worth the automation because of how much polymer you lose. Plus if you make a lot and you craft it into soap like most do, you lose 66% of the polymer you earned. To offset this I think it’s better to craft metal arrows. As it’s 1 to 1 ratio for polymer and cementing paste. And if you use the grinder to turn it back into polymer you just lose 2 metal, 2 fiber, and 2 thatch. Just my opinion though. The purpose of the video was automation and pelagornis does win automation, just at a cost.

unless you playing PVE your pelagornis are getting destroyed instantly. Another option is to put heavies around the iceberg but you'll get people even more pissed. Best option is to tame 1 male penguin and 19 females leave them in auto breed and a single pelagornis on aggressive
