If you have watched my previous BT-44 video (now hidden), I hid it because I wanted to compare all three versions in the same video. And I admit I was a bit too harsh on AMS2 in it, and I aim to maintain a more "professional" tone here and in the future.
Firstly, all laps were driven with tire wear on and all assists off (AMS2 is driven in "Test Day" mode). The AC and rF2 laps are my current PBs, while AMS2 is not; my fastest lap is 1:25.871, visible on the Time Trial leaderboards as the current WR. I attempted to drive as "fast" as possible in each game. Instead of aiming for similar lap times, I decided to push myself to go as fast as I could (I'm not the fastest with these cars). Going fast may appear differently in each game, especially in AMS2, where my unique driving style yields the best lap times. But, this style might not work as effectively in the other two sims.
Now, for the differences, I'll mention a few positive and negative aspects of each, without delving too deeply into details, as this description is already quite lengthy. Focus will be on the driving. Sound, and graphics you can assess for yourself.
Automobilista 2:
Pros
-The car feels lively.
-Braking feels good; the braking distance to each corner is appropriate,
requiring an earlier start compared to a modern car.
Cons
-It is easy to execute and control some unconventional slides.
-Full throttle on 1st gear does not unsettle the car.
rFactor 2:
Pros
-The car also feels lively.
-Although the car is "slidey," controlling slides is more challenging, and attempting reckless maneuvers results in punishment.
Cons
-Braking distance seems to be similar to that of a modern F1 car, consistently braking around the 100-meter marks, or slightly after, which feels too close for an older car.
Assetto Corsa:
Pros
-The car feels genuinely challenging to drive, with small details like gear shifting playing a significant role (though this may be viewed negatively by some).
Cons
-The car is a bit stiff.
-Curbs are excessively harsh (but I don't think the modder of this car, could've changed that, and yes this is a mod, the other 2 are base content).

AMS2 onboard just looks like drift into every corner and you'll be fine. That doesn't sit well with me and full throttle in 1st gear not a good for AMS2. Rf2 is missing gear shifting animations I must say. AC and RF2 do look more natural behavior as well.

And this lap wasn't even the 'worst', I did 1:25.871 in time trial mode. The only thing different with that lap was that my drifts were even more outragious.

You know those cars also drifted in real life. The others are far too hard on rails and are not realistic at all.

@@Junker_1I mean rF2 version is also very 'drifty' or slidey, but you can't go absolutely bananas with it. AC version is very much too 'on-rails'. AMS2 just goes way too crazy with it. I mean I have watched real footage from these car where it does slide, but I don't think it looks anything like the way these slide in AMS2. The angles you can take seem too extreme and the slides or drifts can be way too long and easy to control. Usually IRL the slides are pretty short and it does look like the driver needs to be very careful not lose control. I feel like rF2 version gets it most correct, have you even tried that one out? It doesn't feel glued to the track at all. (if you still cannot understand what is wrong with the sliding through corners in AMS2 just watch Nils Naujoks' video on it)

@@MotorsportMinded Maybe you should look at more footage. You could definitely slide those cars very much. Just to give you an extreme example. Have you ever seen Verstappen sliding without losing control? And mind you Reiza is still working on it. Also don't forget that Nils is also part of the beta team of Reiza giving advice. They sure know what they are doing. I think all those other sims have skewed your thinking a bit to what is realistic, especially ACC is very wrong in that department.

@@Junker_1 I mean there is no point at even trying to talk sense to you. Real drivers praise the physics of AC/RF2 and use it for practise. ACC is also praised by many but it's quite clear it's not up there with AC/RF2. I mean Max Verstappen himself praises AC as one of the best sims to practise in, also a lot of real GT3 drivers use AC for practise. You are in complete delusion. I can link you a shit ton of praise from real drivers if you really are this delusional.

@@MotorsportMinded It is a CSP error. In weather settings, I think the schedule had to be deactivated. I dont remember right now. But the problem is there.

Ok I have noticed that the track looks pretty weird, compared to the other base game tracks, so I've been wondering if theres something wrong with it

@@MotorsportMinded Looks like an issue of csp (GrassFX or something) but not in recent csp versions. Maybe config problem

@@MotorsportMinded As a first fix install the Sol color corrections: drive.google.com/file/d/17jKrihe9xX3lkdw870CrcS28lQC-KgUN/view?usp=sharing This will repair the texture colors. There are many new things for this track. Esp the 3d trees let it look realy good...
