Hello everyone,
Today we bring you another amazing interview! This time we introduce you guys to Rob and his immaculate CRX! Yes, the car is in great condition and it is TURBO! Rob is a B series kind of guy and he has build many cars through out his years and this one is amazing. The car is equipped with a glass top and a whole bunch of carbon fiber goodies. @@pull-up-onmeh5138 yes you have done a lot to make it yours. That’s awesome. On the off chance you do end up getting rid of this motor as an ITR I’d make sure it’s really an ITR. Don’t recall itr coming with cable tranny (unless you opened the case and changed the gears) and your head probably stamped p72. 😬

Had to watch this video again. Cringing throughout the whole video. Knowing I built this car since day 1, 2009. I sold this car in August 2023 to him. It was my vision, my build. The fact throughout the video that you took credit for MY BUILD, it sucks. Yeah, you gave me credit at the end of the video does not make it right. You should’ve started the video with a disclosure that you bought it and did the cf accents. That’s it. Shout out to Archie from RCR Smog for taking care of her from 2009-2023. Shout out to all my friends and family who were there from the beginning. Enjoy MY BUILD and hope you earn the respect on the streets again.

Was this car converted to left hand drive ? The reason why I ask is because I noticed the antenna is on the right side. Also, it has a glass top and a SIR front bumper and SiR tail lights. It has all the characteristics of an SiR aside from the steering wheel, being on the left-hand side

@@showstopper247It is USDM HF model. “I” bought all the JDM parts, roof, quarter, hatch, fenders and bumpers. “I” didn’t want to do RHD. I built this car since 2009. Sold it in 2023.

Did you weld the roof cut on or did you cut, drill spot welds, and weld in the tray and put the glass in? I’m guessing since the antenna is on the other side roof cut was welded on?

@@Abrothers100roof was cut at pillars. Done by Sinful Enhancements in San Diego. It was done in 2009-2010.

Give credit where credit is due. This car is well known in San Diego and most of the work was done by the previous owner. There’s nothing wrong with buying a car that’s already built but don’t take credit for it. The car is a custom blue and has been this blue for quite some time. Unless the previous owner could tell the future, there’s no way this is a 2024 HRV color. It’s a JDM GSR. Not ITR

Hey I'm in the process of getting a 90 crx dude is selling for about 2800k I think is not bad price but what is stopping me from getting it idk how hard will it be to find parts it need all the back trunk interior and some side moldings parts. engine wise ill be swapping it so I'm not to worry about it has a little bit of rust but that doesn't bother me for now I just don't know what to do lol

I think those are from JDM ef2 and don’t really fit right. The sedan’s front end is different. I guess if someone is talented enough they could make it work. Not sure how good it would look.

@Abrothers100 He's talking about crx not sedan, I've had 10 different sets of headlights for 88-91 crx and seen one set from France with yellow high beem housing i couldn't get, but never one piece, i believed i had seen them all i might be wrong.

I have a 91 Civic SI that I bought in 95 that is a turbo d16 A1. On 24 psi. It went from a nitrous system and I turned in 2009. I'll keep this car and give it to my grand kids when they're older.

You need a roof cut. Glass is fragile. Several different ways to do it. The “proper way” I guess would be to take out the glass, drill the spot welds out of the tray in the roof cut. Cut your car’s roof and sunroof tray, weld in the roof cut tray and put the glass in like you would a windshield. Thats the brief overview. Other ways is to cut the roof off and just weld on the SiR roof cut. I’ve seen guys do it other ways as well.

When you add a turbo to the picture it doesn't matter. Even a single cam turbo will make enough power to give traction issues on the street.

Bro I have a 89 CRX base old school style look tuff and sounds tuff.i build my own combo d15b2 block po8-3 head no VTEC crap or turbo all motor I put better valves and retainers a 272 Delta cam regrind I used the stock obdo distributor with adjustments jjj and a Weber carb with 10 pound flywheel and stage 2 clutch kit header with homemade free flow exhaust system and a small cherry bum glass pack exhaust system jjj 😁 CCR born in the byouooooo 10.1 to 11.1 with y8 head gasket and others little things build my simple peppy like hell sounds like a muscle car and fast enough to make people mad and see her back lights jjjj for tune I used a junkyard screw 🪛 jjj and hit the roads like hell in wheels for my junkyard parts I build a all motor beast cheap easy to maintenance gd on gas and she looks and sounds like CCR born in the byouooooo.old school style bro

@@AutomotiveAnatomy no problem my is original blue but fade bro but looks different then yours because have 16x8 wheels with 2 in flares on back metal flares plus junkyards homemade front spoiler looks tuff and she is in coilovers but her cam sounds make her sounds like a old Ford muscle car old school style plus she run on a Weber carb big difference from fuel injector system when comes to sound plus in mid rpm she becomes a beast 8500 rpm easy with her better springs and retainers plus she is mid bore from manifold to exhaust as well header for better flow the d15b2 with this combo is a peppy engine and with my comble in higher rpm she becomes a beast compared to stock d15b2 engine is better feeling than with a b16a engine lest weight plus she doesn't lose the beauty of the CRX feel better than a porche really nice to enjoy the ride and her beauty in reality a go-kart on steroids plus no computer crap like I said a old screw 🪛 that it simple set up and cheap to build nothing fancy a poor man everyday drive and free of problems and her sound can't be compared is to gd to be true but we all are different but we all love the CRX something real special made by a human being and we have one I kp my to the day I died and from here she will be kept in the family real simple

Beautiful car! Miss my 94 integra. Those b series absolutely love a gt2871r turbo! Makes about 300-330whp on 25psi, spools crazy fast and lasts long. Would love to get my hands on a clean crx.

This is an iconic car. I love these. In the early 90s there was a crx all motor that was really fast. He beat every car he raced. I had the fastest all motor golf and we could never set up a race. His car was the same color as yours
