European Championship Unlimited Bangers Warneton 1-9-2019

On the 1st of September 2019 it was time for the 25th European Championship Unlimited Bangers at Speedway Warneton and we filmed the event with 5 camera’s! A lot of drivers booked in for this event with special cars because of the fact it was the 25th edition. Here’s just a small list of cool cars that were used: Jaguar MK7, Daimler DS420 Limo, Rolls Royce, Volvo 940 Limo, Lincoln Continental MK5, Humber Pullman Limo, Toyota Supra, Oldsmobile 98, Cadillac 75, Ford Granada, Cadilliac Hearse and a Lincoln Town Car Limo.
In this video you will see a compilation of the best looking fresh cars, lots of crashes and wreck shots. Thanks a lot to Camso Bangers and Speedway Warneton for setting up this superb organised event and for making us feel welcome. @@SeamusAndrewMurphy i believe that in the last 15 years nobody died in Banger Racing. Before that 15 years the last person died because het got out of his car during the race and got hit. Its actually pretty safe!

The Dutch don't do destruction derby's as there is no need. Most of the cars are absolutely obliterated by the end of the race. There are some serious hard hits going in during these races. I'm surprised that there are no broken limbs etc. at the end of it all. A great video btw!

Dit heb je echt mooi gemonteerd, waar je de race en crashes van verschillende hoeken hebt gefilmd. Bedankt dat je altijd fantastische opnamen maakt van banger race, omdat ik zelf nagenoeg nooit de financiële middelen heb om zelf er naar toe te kunnen gaan. Nu kan ik toch nog met groot genot naar de banger race kijken, dankzij jou inspanning. Super bedankt, en hoop dat je nog lang banger races zal blijven filmen! Petje af voor jou kerel! (en natuurlijk ook voor degene die jou hielpen met filmen) 👍🏆👍

I have so many questions and observations to make about Banger racing, mainly, how in the hell is it possible that I've never seen these races before? I binge watch auto/bike racing all the time, and I'm just now discovering this? Banger racing has to be one of the tippy-top deadliest sanctioned sports ever. I'm not sure this carnage could be sanctioned in the US. Sure, professional boxing and MMA, the fighters are getting kicked and punched very hard, but there's little chance of anybody bursting into flames.

Can someone please explain to me what's the goal of this? Is it the last car running wins? Is it a race? If it's a derby, why not be in a big field or whatever. If it's a race why does everyone destroy their car so quickly?

Ik zie, uiteraard, dat het stuur zowel links als rechts zit bij de verschillende auto's. Hoe lossen ze dat op met de race? Je mag niet aan de chauffeurskant rammen, maar dat zie je toch niet altijd tijdens de race, wie links of rechts zit?

De rijders weten vaak wel door de kleuren wie engels is of niet. Gaat zelden fout. En zowel, dan is daar de deurplaat voor :)

Ho do they make the front ends of those cars so sturdy? Or is it just because everything up to the drivers seat has bee taken out of those cars?

They use different engine mounts, big watertanks etc which makes it a bit stronger.

You need to turn the zoom volume adjust feature off on your camera. Every time you zoom out the volume gets so low you can barely hear anything. Then you cut to an up close scene and its screaming load. Makes a annoying to watch. Other then that great vid. ty

Thanks for the feedback but it has to do with the fact two of the cams arent videocams. One is a gopro and the other one a nikon. Might put the volume down in the future on those two when editing.

No lhd and rhd are allowed on track.

RHD means the drivers side hits the wall first when you get followed in, the opposite is the case in the UK.

One thing i dont understand is why they dont remove front parts like gril of bumper wenn in good shape then maybe someone is looking for that part in special.

Sometimes they swap good parts for bad parts and sometimes not. Some dont care about the money and just like to race something special.
