In a world where cars & car makers are going fully electric this Porsche is a perfect example of why we love petrol supercars. I will truly miss this sound in 20 years time when all we'll hear is silence from an electric motor in supercars. Slide throttle. SLIDE. THROTTLE. I'm amazed that Rory just glossed over that bit. That's a notoriously tricky system to tame and make use of in a racecar, let alone a street car.

Other cars like Jaguar XJ220, TVR Tuscan, Griffith and Alfa GTV 6...etc are also worth this level of restoration. Imagine it with a Carbon fiber body, Titanium exhaust, and a complete re-design electronic system. And Toyota's standard assembly!

It is a shame moving to EPAS, I imagine there just arent suppliers for Hydraulic at this point, but it just feels like a compromise to the vision of what this car is meant to be.
