This is part 2 of our trip to Kyoto and Osaka. It was a mixture of the old and new... world heritage sites and marvellous feats of modern engineering. A fine example of the old co-existing with the new. Of course, there is always the wonderful food that has been around since the 1920s to those that were developed in the modern era. Japan has it all if you slow down and take time to appreciate it. Rush... and you will miss the best that Japan has to offer.

I am hoping to go back in Autumn there, I want to see the changing color of leaves, I normally a spring person but Autumn is also so beautiful…

What’s the best month to go visit Kyoto and Osaka for the peak fall colors?

Between late Oct and early Nov would be good. But global warming has made fall colours unpredictable now.

Around what week did you took this video? I'm planning to go to Osaka/Kyoto around 14-18 NOV I was hoping to see this kind of foliage.

You will definitely miss the foliage on Kyoto, there is a slight chance you might see it in Osaka though. The forecast for this year is later than average since it’s expected to be hotter for this year.
