Happy belated (??) Autumn! I swear the leaves fell as fast as they could this year. I hope you enjoy walking around Kikko Park with me, Gus-Gus, and baby Atlas. WHEN (not if... because WHEN) you visit Japan or move here, I hope you get a chance to see Kikko Park and our beloved Kintai-Kyo (Kintai bridge). It's so beautiful in every season.. I wish I lived a little closer because I come here to walk around all the time.

Fun Fact: Ginkgo tree are the most ancient species of trees still alive today! There are fossils of ginkgo leaves that date 200 million years old. We have one on my college campus and a few on the streets near the campus. They are so BEAUTIFUL!

It’s so beautiful, I don’t know when I want to return fall or spring. The carpeted floor and you with your babies😍 I couldn’t believe that I’m still witnessing the leaves changing colors now in December. I’m completely in love with Japan🇯🇵🤍

I met the dog from the Sandlot!! A friend of my mom knew the owners!!! He was an English Mastiff which is close. If you have watched the Turner and Hooch movie with Tom Hanks before, that is the same type of dog!!

I am at a place where I am thinking of starting a family but I’m also nervous/sad to leave my current life behind. And between family/friends and content creators, you’re the only one who makes me feel the most excited/comfortable with the prospect. Long way to say - thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings on motherhood!! It really is helpful and appreciated 😊❤

I cannot wait to visit Japan next autumn! My husband is half Japanese and his Obaachama lives in Saitama, we always planned on going for our honeymoon and we just made it official for next year (although we got married in 2021) but we’re so excited!

It's hard for me to vlog with a bag and a to-go tea in my hand plus the tripod and puppet co-host. I can't imagine with a baby and dog in tow 👍 Don't worry about it, most people understand ❤

Iwakuni is definitely on my Japan travel list! I'd love to see this bridge. 😍 I'm in Kyoto right now and my favorite area of the city is the pathway that follows the river/canal through the city - so many cool bridges!

Love to see Japan with a baby! I'm due in Summer 2023 (my first) and will be moving to Japan (from the UK) that Autumn. I'm really anxious as it's so far from home even though I love Japan. It's a lot of change all at once! Thanks for continuing to share :)

Judging from his expression Gusgus is also a fan of the raspberry-pistachio ice cream 😋. High praise, those guys should put that clip on their website... Koyo colours are a blast (still prefer Japanese Maple though)

I like ginkgo tree whose leaves become yellow from green in the autumn. Gingko is called "Ichoo" in Japanese. Female ginkgo tree bears fruit. Although that is very stinky, it is possible to eat the seed inside it.

I wish you wouldn’t be so hard on yourself about vlogging! You should never feel bad because you’re prioritizing your baby and dog over content. I would however be really interested in a rebrand where you shared more about what it’s like being a parent in a foreign country!
