Fascinating video about a very fascinating woman, Autumn. Up until recently (mostly through your research), I had never heard of Bonnie Cashin. She really is “the most influential designer [I’d] never heard of.” I love that she incorporated the use of the curve that is the ancient Greek ideal of the flow of life and/or infinity in her handbag designs . I miss my days as an art student, therefore your discussion about Bonnie Cashin and her mother’s encouragement to for her to explore art has hit me where I live. I want to go back to art school. I REALL y enjoyed this video ! Where did you get the book on Bonnie CASHIN ? My favorite would be the fringe bag they just rereleased. The original came out in 1964 . My birth year ! I’ve searched everywhere and there not to be found. I might have to by the reproduction 😕 . We have not seen a lot of your vintage collection . Don’t know if you remember , I bought your British tan & Navy vintage shoulder bags awhile back . I’m slowly collecting vintage . Wished I’d done it earlier when they were so cheap !
