Truth, I think it's a good power tho But I think that he can control it if he really focuses like in the first EP when he met kitty he only shookup that certain. Part of the ground and when he moved the principles desk against him. If he was with professor Xavier since the beginning ig he could've controlled it more and cause less casualties This is my opinion tho :p not tryna be offensive or anything

Just finished this show, and Avalance was a great character! Occasionally infuriating, seeing him often choose the easy and dark road- but loved the decent kid he could be shining through. Not a bad kid, not really- just badly led and surrounded by bad influences.

I think he was an interesting character in Evolution And I liked how Kitty brought the good out in him and how he actually joined the X Men for a bit.

Xmen evolution is the best anime that portrayed the characters perfectly well (avalanche, rogue, nightcrawler, toad, etc) even the MCU haven't portayed them as interestingly 👍

Yeah I saw from the show Logan that rictor’s was a clone from avalanche (but this avalanche was Dominick Petros, the original avalanche from Greece) Sad that this version of avalanche (lance alvers) won’t appear on the big screens :(

I grew up with x men evolution and love it a lot and Lance Alvels was pretty good , but a few years ago I watched for the first time Wolverine and the Xmen and I must say Avalanche from that series is such a daddy 😍 ,hope you will make a video with him.

no matter how many times I rewatch the series I always wish Lance stayed at the Mansion... he had redeemed himself by the end of Joyride, I get that everyone had been hard on him the whole episode, but he & Kitty literally brought Bobby, Jubilee and Bezerker in... all he had to do was stay, he could've been the new cool kid with the cool kids on clean up duty. He just *gave up* on Kitty & the best version of himself 🥺😭

I would have left if I were him though. Because Scott despised him, and Lance has quite a sensitive ego. So he would not have been truly happy as an X-Men.

I was thinking that too, although of course, real earthbenders are a lot faster during combat. Lance's mutant powers seem to need time to gain force and momentum.

I love this version of Avalanche as it's a breath of fresh air, while regular Avalanche is straight up evil, this Avalanche is a struggling teenager that wants to change but always ends up back on the wrong track.

Few things i just realized after all these years. Avalanche in this version might be hispanic due to the last name being a misspelling of Alvarez, He looks like has a seizure everytime he uses his powers and also i think he is based off of Rictor more than Avalanche.

It's Alvers, not Alverez. But you do know that this version of Avalanche is not canon. In the Marvel comics, Avalanche is a Greek guy called Dominikos Ioannis Petrakis.

I literally said that Alvarez is misspelled which means i am aware of the fact that Lance is Alvers … Another thing where do you get that I don’t know that this is not canon to the comics? That is basic knowledge my friend i read X-men comics my whole life i have a huge collection of X-men and Wolverine omnibuses. According to the wika this Version of Avalanche was based of a mash up of a young magneto and the character Rictor who ironically in the comics is gay. Kinda of a shame this version of Avalanche never over took the comics version whose kinda just "Earthquake X-men Villain"

It bothers me that Avalanche, Leech and Toad’s original name was changed, even Rogue’s name wasn’t mention. But it so does make sense to call him Lance over Dominikos. Lance, get it? Side note, they created Spyke for variation reason but sadly his character was never introduced outside of X-Men Evolution, unlike X-23. They should have made Bishop, the main character if they wanted a ‘colored’ character, he was the obvious choice.
