Glacier National Park has some amazing hikes and one of them is AVALANCHE LAKE TRAIL. This is an awesome, family-friendly hike; however, the elevation gain makes it a moderate hike, with some steep sections. There are lots of places to stop, take a break, and just look around at the beautiful scenery. Our kids even took a dip in the lake, which seems to be somewhat of a popular thing to do. We loved experiencing this hike as a late afternoon adventure.
We are a family of 4 who loves to travel. In 2019, we bought a 30 ft. travel trailer and decided to make our dreams happen by getting out on the road. Since then, we have upgraded to a 39' Fifth Wheel Mid-Bunkhouse and a 2018 Ford F-350 Diesel and are loving the upgrade for our family. We have always LOVED traveling and now seeing our world on the road has given us opportunities to see and make more memories as a family. We are teachers and are blessed to have the same "vacation" schedule, so we make the most of it with our kids by being both weekend warriors and by "school schedule" traveling--We call ourselves summer-timers. We hope to share what we learn while exploring this beautiful world around us and inspire you to get out and see it too.
