One of the most popular trails in Glacier National Park, the hike begins along the Trail of the Cedars, winding through an ancient forest of hemlocks & red cedar, following Avalanche Creek, out to Avalanche Lake. Enroute we see waterfalls, mountain scenery, and wildlife such as a fox (unsure if it's a red fox, or a swift fox.)

hello, what a wonderful landscape, I also often go to the mountains and try to share these experiences, not at these levels but it's nice to share places with other people that maybe they don't know

Hoping to go to GNP next summer, so I’ll definitely put this wonderful hike on the must-do list! Heading out to Grand Teton National Park soon for hiking & camping. I’ve hiked there before, but this will be my first time camping there. Hope the bears 🐻behave! Did you guys see any bears at GNP? Great video guys! And that was great footage of the fox!

@rosemiller646 Have fun in the Tetons, we love camping there! We saw 3 black bears and 3 grizzlies at Glacier, mostly at safe distances... 🤣

@@SlonesWildernessExpeditions It’s definitely exciting to see bears and other wildlife out in their natural habitat. Hopefully, though, our views will be “always” at a safe distance and not “mostly” like yours! LOL 🤣 !!! (I even got bear spray and an air horn for this trip!)

The blue lakes up there were amazing! I think my two favorites types of bodies of water would be those blue lakes, and the springs in Florida.
