That is good looking country. It's hard to grasp the steepness of the hills in these videos, let alone critique ones riding position. Some of the armchair snowmobilers commenting on these videos need to get a life. Great video!

They look like mini avalanches but I’m sure the GoPro makes it look smaller and less steep.

That was a close call. It looked like the snow was going over a cliff in the distance.

"anything can slide at anytime" Maybe sledders should play "cut the rope" to get a little grasp of why a mountain side of snow tend to slide if you cut across it with a sharp tool (the sled)...

Wish you could just pin it and sail off a slab like that on skis

What's the difference? I don't know any thing about avalanches because I live in Manitoba, very flat

dbk81 so you can't die from that?
@csi45307 жыл бұрын
dbk81 Sluff is snow you spray off the hill that goes down the mountain. This was a slab breaking off. It was small but it was an avalanche.

I don't see a avalanche

avalanche [av-uh-lanch, -lahnch] noun 1. a large mass of snow, ice, etc., detached from a mountain slope and sliding or falling suddenly downward.
