The Scarecrow is one of my favorite metal CDs of all time. Amazing music, absolutely stellar cast of musicians. Listening to Tobias along with others like Jorn Lande, Alice Cooper, and Michael Kiske is just amazing. Thank you, Tobias, for this masterpiece and for your vision.

A perfect video for this song. The Scarecrow was in my opinion the best album this year so far and I'm sure it will stay that way. Sammet goes from the impressive Metal Opera albums to something even greater.

Everyone of you complaining about this song: Have you heard the album? Because the song fits perfectly on the album. The album is my favourite of year 2008 this far, and this is my most listened track. P.S. I loved the Metal Opera albums but I like The Scarecrow even better

The story of the video quite fits my situation. I fell in love with a girl, then after a couple of weeks she says that she has a boyfriend. The first girl in my life i confess that i love her and now i don't know if i should let her go or keep fighting for her. The thing is that i don't want to hurt her and i want her to be happy. Even if it's not meant to be with me, but at the same time i need her by my side. LOVE is a bitch! :(

to everyone who is having a cow over what 'category' Avantasia is in. It doesn't matter to the musicians whether it's metal or not. To them it's just music. It is the fans who label everything and try to justify the actions of the artists. To the ones who create the symphonies of sound, it is an extension of their soul, which they play with all their passion.
