Good review and reminder of the new Avantasia album out now. I immediately noticed the song seems to have a fuller sound. I think the orchestra blends/compliments the vocals better than on some of the older albums. I recently found out how awesome Avantasia is. Mindblowing 🤯epic rock! Feels like discovering awesome melodic/power bands way back in the 80s-90s. When I was young metalhead in my teens and 20s 🤘🏻

I consider myself really lucky since I saw them live last night here in Sweden were they played this song live for the first time 😀 What a great song! There is something magical about it. The show was amazing aswell. So many great moments. Bob Catley, Eric Martin and Ralph Scheepers were on fire!

Fantastique from me too dude (what a shocker right?). In a piece I read recently Tobias said this is the first time in a while where he has been in control of every single detail on an album, and has been crafting the album for 3 years solid. To me it really shows on these first 2 songs. They really are masterpieces in my opinion. In terms of the genre, I always think of Avantasia as an operatic fusion of Power Metal and Melodic Rock. This song definitely leans more to Melodic Rock, but I can still hear slight elements of Power Metal. If the 2 songs are an indication of what to expect from the album, then I'll be very happy indeed 🤘🤘🤘🤘

What does it sound like? Avantasia!! Yes, it's a very powerful song in every aspect. Good song, extremely powerful vocals and the production is better than anything I ever heard. Really huge and epic. I like this song a lot more than the previous one which sounded too generic. This also sounds a bit predictable. Tobias has definitely tons of talent, so I would wish he would try to do something extraordinary. Looking forward to hear this album nevertheless.
