I'm actually using avast premium (cracked and it was able to defend my pc from 473 attacks by the most dangerous malware viruses,vorms and other kind of malware.For me avast is one of the best antiviruses,the best 3 are avast, Kaspersky and Grizzly

1:39 : Avast has an issue with manual file scanning from explorer. I experienced it so many times where it was in fact a virus, but avast identified it as save. Avast stopped the virus from executing though

Unsure if you know the full workings of an av. But it uses virus detentions which need to be regularly updated for it to pick the threat up, if the threat isn't on the defenition then the antivirus won't pick it up. However, if u were to use a proper anti malware program it may have a better chance of picking it up becuase it has much more threats it can pick up and isn't just limited to the more well known threats (yes, anti malware and antivirus are two different things, I didn't know that until I took my qualificationl
