One thing for sure: There will be TONS of gorgeous water simulation in this movie, a truly CG feast at its best! Can’t wait to see it!

It's sad that James Horner is not here anymore to compose the sequels after a tragic plane crash that killed him. His music in Avatar was amazing and look forward to hear some of his music being reused in this movie

I just came home from the iMAX theater and I'm still shaken. I'm determined. I'm heartbroken. I'm hopeful as well as I am sorry. Sorry for all the nasty things that we are doing to this beautiful earth. Sorry for our endless greed and our inability to look ourselves in the mirror. Sorry for the oceans that we are poisoning. For the forests that we are cutting down. For the soil that we are draining. I couldn't help but see that we are both the Na'avi and the Sky People. We have both natures in us. We can be compassionate to other living beings and we can butcher them when we are asleep to our cruelty. It is an awesome piece of art. It's a shame that the word awesome has lost all its weight but it's the closest word that describes it. I was filled with awe, wonder, reverence, and mystery all the way through. I saw myself in both sides of the equation. The light and the dark. The saint and the sinner. But in the midst of all of those fight scenes and grandeur, it was clear to me just how pertinent the message is. That the bond of family, community and our connection to nature are more important than everything else. No amount of technological advancement will replace the joy of swimming with friends who have your back and feeling the sun on your skin. No amount of metaverse shenanigans will bring more fulfillment than seeing pride on your father's face when he realizes that he raised a good person. All is lost when we sever the connections of humanity, spirit and playfulness. Those are the things that make us what we are. Thank you Cameron for your wake-up call. May we be kinder to all beings.

One of the films that got me into creature creation! Such a unique world of creatures and characters! Yes, it made me cry a little watching this trailer. I remember when my family and I saw the first one, it was amazing! Hope to see this new one with them again!

I saw the original in IMAX 3D when I was in highschool and was blown away. Even when I owned it on DVD and all the backlash happened, I still enjoyed it. The story was simple, but brought up relevant themes and history parallels. And on a personal level, I still have a soft spot for it, because it reminds me of a simpler time before life hit like a brick. It's still a comfort film to me to this day. So, heck yes I am very excited for this.

I swear. Nobody is talking about this music. It is some of the best music I have ever heard. It screams royalty and is one of the most ethereal and most beautiful sounding music that I have ever heard. The pipe organ makes it seem like the largest movie ever made. I love it. Amazing.

I remember seeing this for the first time in the cinema, as a little autistic boy. It was the only movie that had me captivated throughout, I watched the entire thing without looking away once. That's a lot for an autistic kid. It stuck with me back then, the attention put into it's world, the amazing acting and CGI. I'm so excited for this movie, I'm 22 now but just seeing the trailer brought back so many memories.

I really enjoyed that video! It's amazing that it took them so long to make this movie that it went from arriving too late to actually riding the first film's nostalgia wave. Mighty 😒 Travels 💕 Premium has allowed me to travel to places I never would have been able to go without it.

yo I teared up ngl, can't believe how long it's been, saw the first opening night with my father always talking about seeing the sequel, I wish he was here today to see this, I am definitely seeing it opening night for him, Avatar has a special place in my heart, not only for it's insane visual style, but even the story telling reversing the general scifi norm where humanity is the one who needs to learn and understand, I loved how outside the norm it was and hopefully they continue pushing out of that box into open water you could say ( pun intended this one being water based with almost a subnautica vibe )

I went and saw the rerelease in cinemas and saw the 3 minute underwater scene from Avatar 2. I gotta say the water is actual mind blowing next level. Especially when the camera is just above the sea level and you can see it splashing around and revealing under the water surface. Seeing it in the cinema and in the best possible quality really did the CGI justice.

Avatar had huge impact on my life. I watched in theater with my girlfriend who became my wife 2012 and used the soundtrack "I see you" performed by Leona Lewis as my wedding song. Its still my opinion its one of the best soundtracks ever! This movie just looks epic, I am sure its gonna inspire the whole new generation! I see u guys!!

It took Cameron 14 years for this, also as I read 3rd, 4th & 5th part? I'm glad that I perserved my love & passion for this movie. I was in elementary school when Avatar came out, watched it XYZ times, knew every line of text of every actor in every scene, that's how much I was amazed by this master piece. And here we are, almost 14 years later, after so many busted dead lines, troubles with recording the scenes, law problems & Disney problems... I'm just glad that Cameron also perserved HIS goal of delivering to us, the fans, the next box office breaker 😊 Told my self, "If this man can continue his work for more than a decade, followed by the actors, CGI gurus, editors & everyone else, my ass will be in the theater as soon as the sequals come out, take my money & give me the joy & happiness"

I still remember seeing the first one in theaters in December 2009 when I was 16 and being absolutely floored by it. It was amazing and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. You see, the thing about these movies are that no matter how much you watch them, they never fail to put you at awe. When I was a kid I would watch this, I even had toys of the little horses. I thought it was real, and I couldn’t figure out how they did it. Truly timeless films

So I just saw the film and, NO spoilers, it is every bit as good in the special effects as everyone is expecting. Story-wise, it's essentially the first movie only on an island instead of the forest. There's an intriguing mystery that comes in and out of the storyline as a sort of subplot. Overall, not a waste of time or money. I'll probably go see it again to catch some things I missed the first go around.

This trailer just unlocked a core memory. I was five when the first one came out. For her birthday, one of my classmates got her parents to buy everyone in my class (22 of us) a McDonald’s happy meal. You either got a Jake Sully toy, a Ney’tiri toy, or the red dragon. I got a Ney’tiri. I’m in tears right now. I’m so excited for this movie.

I was so hype seeing this trailer in the theaters I genuinely couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I fell in love with avatar and it’s world the first time I watched the first movie. Looking at the comments I feel such a sense of community from everyone’s excitement and nostalgia. I’m glad I’ll be able to experience pandora all over again.

What has instantly elevated my hopes for this film is that the James Cameron has stuck to his principles about taking time with the Avatar movies. He spent a similar amount of time to produce the first Avatar movie. I'm sure this film will be gorgeous, but with the advancements in technology, I hope the directors have had more time to bring us a deeper and more immersive story!

For those who's asking why it took a decade for the Avatar sequels to get made. Keep in mind that the first movie took 15 years for Cameron to made the movie and the technology at that time when he was writing the first draft hadn't exists to capture his vision. Now that's just the first one, let alone 4 sequels back to back and the fact that he doesn't have any source material to work with, the story came from his own head. Also in the past few years, he has been developing some new technologies for the sequels so yeah it takes time a lot to capture the vision that he wanted to make. So this should be an interesting visual experience like the first one. Cameron is one of the best directors when it comes to visual storytelling, always been a fan of him. This looks insanely good, I always knew that there's so much stuff at the pandora that could be explored

I remember in 2009 when it came out I was astonished with how amazing the CGI was. I'm curious now, after 13years to see what new rendering advancements they've implemented in this film like physics, textures and lighting etc. this side of the world looks Gorgeous and I can't wait to experience it.

I remember I was just nine years old when my parents to me to see this in theaters, and I came out loving it more than them! I watched it so many times and it really made me love action movies and the creators. That music made me remember all the times I would listen even to the credits because they were so beautiful. Thankyou for bringing back characters I enjoyed seeing so much!

This was the first movie I ever watched. I was five years old and I remember watching it on a small DVD player in the middle of my bedroom. I was fascinated by the CGI and Avatar is what introduced me into the world of film, storytelling and art. I'll never forget that experience. Now I am an Author of my own series. THANK YOU AVATAR. Sincerely, an eighteen year old girl.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more sea creatures (Tulkun, Nalutsa, and Ilu) included as well as some of the unidentifiable sea creatures like the hammerhead looking fish in the trailer. I think it'll also be cool to see all of the new ships, submarines, and other tech that the RDA (Cet-Ops) will be using in this next film (and subsequent Avatar films).

Why am I in tears watching this trailer? Cause even though it's a movie, I know what it means to fight for what you have and build for, even if it's your last breath.

They announced that they intended to make a sequel immediately after the first one. I'm amazed it has taken 13 years, and I have watched Avatar go through every stage of the hype cycle a couple times over in that time. That said, Avatar was a beautiful film and I look forward to this one, if for no other reason than because it's incredibly pretty.

I was sat in the cinema, I can't remember what I was there to watch, and the ad we are watching finishes and then this music starts. I knew IMMEDIATLEY what it was and was in shock and denial. I remember turning to my dad with my jaw dropped and said 'I KNOW WHAT THIS IS' and then 0:07 happened and I started CRYING because I loved the first one so much and this was the first I'd heard of the second one. I was that excited I had people around me telling me to be quiet. ROLL ON DEC 16th!

I'm 34 years old and im dropping tears for this release. I love Avatar universe so much and i can't believe we are so close to watching this masterpiece. And this has to be an IMAX experience, definitely a MUST WATCH movie for everyone.
