Fast travel will be disabled for this, so you'll have to fly to the base. Go over the HQ mountain and not around it.
Do all of your crafting and cooking before this. You'll be able to access the crafting tables and cooking stations at HQ, but you won't be able to leave the area or the path to the base without the game yelling at you. So you won't be able to harvest anything.

i just wanted to say THANK YOU for these videos. All the bases, I was able to finish because of you LOL after having played over 110 hours of gameplay and procrastinating the final quest for over two months, I watched your video and finished it. If you visit the site of Drill base Omega after the "Last Strike" quest, you can go through the same tree and tunnel but it brings you out to the surface. You can also get to a small area that survived, the canteen. There's a door that you can open but not reach to go through that you can open. I don't remember what is supposed to be on the other side of that door.

@EmmieJacob How did you get so many "spare parts", I've gone to the different outposts and I've gotten 'some" spare parts, but I noticed that you have like a huge amount of spare parts. I've had to start over on this Last Strike because I just didn't have enough weapons towards the end where you have the big battle that is timed. I have found some spare parts if you take down the floating stations or attack the little factions of solders around a downed craft. Can you tell me the trick to get a lot of spare parts before i re-enter Last strike?

Every RDA installation has a box of them (the smaller ones, not the large bases, though they absolutely have them too!) and every field lab has a box of like 5 or so. Activate every field lab you can find. You'll get a lot that way.

@@EmmieJacob I didn't think I would get through this level. Dang amp's are moving around like crazy and the soldiers are even more pesky. I was surprised that it has a break where you shut down the fueling and then face the big AMP otherwise.... Thanks for your video's they were really helpful.
