If I was there, I would ask him where his Homies were at because the last time I checked, there are no water benders in the southern tribe, other than the one that was born years after the raides. And that conquest happened without Sozins comet ☄️ . And the water tribes are not practiced pacifist. Not to mention the northern water tribe almost fell, if it wasn’t for the avatar, and they had 100 years to prepare. To fight the fire 🔥 nation. And the end of the series the Earth Kingdom almost held the same fate as the air nomads. And if you wanna know how powerful one Airbender can be just read the rise of Kyoshi. Find out what one single Airbender did to a whole fleet of water tribe army. Where he literally became a folklore. And lastly, if you want to see how untethered Air-bending is, look no further than the desert 🏜️ episode. Aang was the only character that was not helpless. He had multiple ways of transporting out of the desert. He could fly on his staff, but if he didn’t have that he could jump long distances, he could speed run, and he could use the air scooter for transport. And there is a good chance. He could’ve found Appa too, but he couldn’t risk losing the rest of the Gaang so he turned back.

@KiwiBirdsAreGreat why are you telling me information I already know ? My point still stands the only reason the water tribe culture in the south is still standing on feeble legs. Is because it is a mixture of bendors and non-bendors. We saw in the flashback that they took all the benders and left all the non-benders. Well, the Airbenders was a race of all benders. Due to their high spirituality, It wasn’t until in the future where Aang started air acolytes who would preserve the culture of the air nomads and maintain the legacy of the temples. and that’s how non-benders ended up being a part of air, nomad culture.

@qbgrindddd that’s literally my whole point the only reason that there is a surviving water tribe that’s birthing new water benders is because it’s a mixed of benders, and non-benders the Air nomad race of all benders due to their high spirituality. The Fire nation only abducted and kidnapped the water benders and left everybody else. That’s the only reason his culture still has feeble legs to stand on.
