I love how they give little back stories of some of the past avatars and give you an idea of their personalities and characters as well, information which one would have to read in their novels. And I again recommend you watch the Legend of Korra, you'll learn a lot lot more about the spirit world and the origin of bending the elements. it's an interesting journey.
